PREPARATIONSand all wood pieces. Wipe clean.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONSRead through instructions before painting

Halloween InsertBACKGROUNDBase the background with Purple Cow. While still damp, sponge on Lavender, Dioxazine Purple and Purple Cow. Let dry. Lightly stencil the BCS112 bat and star border onto the two edges using Dioxazine Purple. Add the spider web lines with thinned Warm White. Let dry then transfer design.

MOONSponge around the outside of the Moon with Lemon Yellow. Base the Moon with Marigold. Sponge in the middle with Lemon Yellow then in the center of that with Warm White. Let dry. Shade the edges of the Moon with Spiced Pumpkin.

SPIDERBase the Spider with Milk Chocolate. Shade with Bit-tersweet Chocolate. Add thinned lines of Light But-termilk for hairs on top of body. Base the nose with Lamp Black. Add a C-stroke of Warm White. Legs are thinned Lamp Black. Add dot to each Leg with Lamp Black. Eyes are dots of Lamp Black. Stipple Terra Cotta for highlights.

JACK O LANTERNBase the Jack O Lantern with Spiced Pumpkin. Sponge on Sunny Day highlighting the inner areas. Shade with Georgia Clay. Base the Eyes with Lamp Black. Base the Stem with Milk Chocolate. Shade with Bittersweet Chocolate.

BATStencil the Bat with BCS112 using Lamp Black.

EDGINGBase the edges with Lamp Black.

Christmas InsertBACKGROUNDBase the background with Winter Blue. Sponge on Wedgewood Blue and Warm White. Let dry. Lightly stencil dots with BCS224 using Snow White. Let dry and then transfer design.

SNOWMANBase the Snowman with Snow White. Shade with Win-ter Blue. Base the Nose with Spiced Pumpkin. Shade with Georgia Clay. Base one of the Buttons with Foliage Green. Shade with Evergreen. Base the other Button with Cinnamon Drop. Shade with Deep Burgundy Mix. Add a C-stroke of Snow White to each Button. Lightly stipple cheek with Cinnamon Drop. Eyes are dots of Lamp Black. Add thinned lines of Milk Chocolate and

Dark Chocolate for arm.

CANDY CANEBase the red sections with Cinnamon Drop. Shade with Deep Burgundy Mix. Base the white sections with Snow White. Shade with Winter Blue. Float a highlight of Snow White down one side of the Candy Cane. Add a C-stroke of Snow White.

GINGERBREAD BOYBase the Gingerbread Boy with Raw Sienna. Shade with Dark Chocolate. Stipple cheeks lightly with Cinna-mon Drop. Base the Heart with Cinnamon Drop. Shade with Deep Burgundy Mix. Add a C-stroke of Snow White to each. Icing is thick lines of Light Buttermilk. Eyes are dots of Lamp Black.

HOLLY AND HEARTBase the Holly with Foliage Green. Shade with Ever-green, Highlight with Margarita. Base the Heart with Cinnamon Drop. Shade with Deep Burgundy Mix. High-light with a stipple of Spiced Pumpkin. Add C-stroke of Snow White.

SNOWFLAKESAre thinned lines of Snow White. Add dots of Snow White. The Hearts in the middle are C-strokes of Cin-namon Drop.

EDGINGLet entire piece dry especially dots. Tape off the edges with Frog tape. Base the edges with Lamp Black.

Fall InsertBACKGROUNDBase the background with Light Buttermilk. Sponge on Cocoa and Khaki Tan. Let dry. Drybrush small areas of Light Buttermilk. Lightly stencil background with BCS253 using Cocoa and Light Buttermilk. Let dry. Transfer design.

LEAVESBase the Leaves with Foliage Green. Shade with Ever-green. Highlight with Margarita.

ACORNSBase the top of the Acorns with Dark Chocolate. Shade with Bittersweet Chocolate. Lines are thinned Bitter-

sweet Chocolate. Base the bottoms with Milk Choco-late. Shade with Dark Chocolate. Add a C-stroke of Light Buttermilk.

PUMPKINBase the Pumpkin with Spiced Pumpkin. Sponge on Sunny Day then Lemon Yellow. Let dry. Shade with Georgia Clay. Using texture tape, stencil a few small areas with Georgia Clay. Base the Stem with Milk Chocolate. Shade with Bittersweet Chocolate. Base the Sheep with Light Buttermilk. Shade with Camel. Stipple highlights with Snow White. Base the Head, Ears and feet with Lamp Black. Eyes are dots of Snow White. Float the grass with Foliage Green and a light fl oat of

Evergreen.

EDGINGLet entire piece dry especially dots. Tape off the edges with Frog tape. Base the edges with Lamp Black.

FINISHINGWhen dry, add detail lines with the permanent pen. Spray with Deco Art Matte Spray Sealer. Let dry.

HINT#1 Add dots and C-strokes when you are done painting. These take longer to dry and smear easily.
