changes in the lives of the project participants.

THE PROJECT STATUS
Of the inception project participants of 114 (54%) orphans and vulnerable children, who are very
needy, the Education+Plus programmes is continues to work directly with 37 children (23 girls
and 14 boys): in three OVC Support Groups. DWELE supports in psychosocial therapy;
provision of school uniforms, partial school fees payments in critical needs and books in the
area of education and provision of basic nutritional support for children placed with rescue
families due to sexual gender-based violence in their respective homes. Two boys and two are
at University/tertiary levels higher learning instructions; two girls at pre-college; four girls in
Secondary schools; three girls very likely to join form one in term one of 2014 and the rest are
in primary and early childhood development.

The program has immediate critical educational resource needs for supporting 25 vulnerable
children (82% girls) in January/February 2014. We utilize the donors’ to implement to provide for
essential education support in small but strategic manner to ensure sustain the academic
growth of the vulnerable children

We particularly salute the prime donors who have been donating repeatedly to this programme
throughout our attempts to secure permanent partnership with GlobalGiving – generous
