Thank you for joining us“NOT GUILTY”

The headlines in newspapers across the country tell the story – “NO COLLUSION”. The facts are insufficient to prove any wrongdoing in the President’s relationship with Russia.

Many are relieved, but most are baffled.

“NOT GUILTY” - How can this be? They say, ‘How can man’s justice be so blind?’

Well, for sure God’s justice is blind.

Without His blind justice, all of us would be doomed, “for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”.

Those who lie, cheat, steal, and commit adultery are still eligible to receive God’s forgiveness.

1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Confession is the key.

Verse 10 says, “If we say that we have not sinned, we make [God] a liar, and His Word is not in us.”

What then will be the final verdict? GUILTY!

As we come in this season of Lent, celebrating Palm Sunday, witnessing the Crucifixion, and ultimately rejoicing in the Resurrection, let us be mindful in remembering that Christ paid the supreme sacrifice with His life that we may not stand before God in the filth and the stain of our sins, nor in the frustrations of our selfish ways, but that we may be cleaned by His death and washed in His blood and that we may evermore dwell in Him and He in us!

Only then will we be declared “NOT GUILTY!!!”
