Seavus Project Viewer Product Overview

Seavus Project Viewer is a complete viewer for Microsoft® Project plans. It facilitates excellent collaboration in those projects where people and teams need to view and share project information created by project managers in Microsoft® Project. Seavus Project Viewer is a lightweight and fast standalone application that reads the native .mpp file format and does not require a previous installation of Microsoft® Project on the user’s computer.

Enterprise Project Management

Starting with version 6.0, Seavus Project Viewer can open project plans published on Microsoft® Project Server 2010. Using simple interface, user can connect to the Project Server 2010 using its credentials and open the necessary project plan. With this powerful feature, Seavus Project Viewer can be used as viewer not only for .mpp files, but also for project plans created in the EPM 2010 environment.

License Types

Seavus Project Viewer is developed to meet the needs for project plans sharing for all types of organizations. Therefore, it has designed different types of licenses:Standard LicenseThis is the default and most common way of installing Seavus Project Viewer for small quantities of licenses. This installation is bound to the computer where the application is installed and all users of that particular machine have access to it.

Concurrent License

A Concurrent User Installation is available for customers who wish to streamline their application ownership costs and maintain ease of deployment. In this installation type, the application is installed on a network-accessible server, activates the installation and installs a License Server that will maintain the concurrent usage policy. End-users access the application from a network location.

Company License

A single Company Key deployment is one of the most versatile and configurable way of deploying Seavus Project Viewer in an environment with more than 100 licenses. This installation consists of a single custom-made installation package or MSI which has a customized build of Seavus Project Viewer that does not require any end-user activation.

Enterprise license

The Enterprise license package includes unlimited number of licenses, which makes is most adequate and applicable for an environment whit great amount of licenses. This is an installation with customized build. Does not require end-user activation and it is automatically installed to all computers that will be using Seavus Project Viewer.

Citrix environment

Seavus Project Viewer is a Citrix compatible product. The application has successfully passed all tests in the Citrix environment and based on that Seavus DOOEL has been granted with Citrix Ready membership.
