Venue: Dr.Babu Rajendra Prasad, International Convention Centre (GKVK), Bengaluru, India Dates: 4th May to 6th May 2017

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce that, since the first announcement in April 2016, much progress has been made in the run up to the World Congress of Cosmetic Dermatology(WCOCD) 2017, 4th - 6th May and the result is this second announcement. This comprehensive WCOCD had been envisioned to be the first and one of its kind event, that will leave a mark in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology in India. Over 1400 registrations, 70 industry participations and completion of the scientific program almost 7 months ahead of the congress, all are a testimony to the progress made so far.

True to the theme of the conference, Cosmetic Dermatology - Global Perspectives the congress has more than 40 confirmed international faculties, over 200 national faculties, and around 150 interesting topics for discussion. Impeccably designed parallel events - well planned workshops, comprehensive instructional video courses and master classes - have been designed in the field of lasers, aesthetics, dermatosurgery and practice management. Sister society sessions too have seen an expression of interest from different countries, making the event truly global. After having successfully conducted the biggest dermatosurgery quiz prelims in the country, with participation by over 125 teams this unique event , with international teams, will create a buzz and fizz!. With the plethora of awards to be won through award paper session, quiz competition, innovations, investigations and essay competition, the stage is set for all the young achievers to showcase their talent.

The event is being held at Dr.Babu Rajendra Prasad International Convention Centre (GKVK), one of largest auditoriums in south India, with state of the art facilities, located strategically in Bengaluru city. We are encouraged and enthused by the overwhelming response and the infrastructure is being geared to meet the needs accordingly.

While you are in India, the organizing team wishes to give a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of Incredible India, with its unity in diversity that will be showcased on the backdrop of global culture over two evenings. A very special yoga course for the delegates has also been planned. Several tourism packages have been designed to meet requirements of delegates- heritage, culture, entertainment, beach, wild life, all are available as either day tours or short tours to show case the richness and wonder of India. Longer tours can also be arranged at request. Special attention is being paid to travel and VISA requirements of international delegates.

As the count down begins, the organizing team is delighted to invite all delegates and their guests to attend this academic extravaganza in our city NAMMA BENGALURU.

Come, join us in Bengaluru ! Bengaluru beckons you for a congress to be remembered and cherished!
