Second Announcement

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, it is our great pleasure to invite scientists,

researchers and practitioners of pharmacy and other related professionals to participate in the

6th Congress of Pharmacy of Macedonia with international participation which will be held on

June 1-5 2016 in Ohrid, Macedonia. The hosts of this Congress are Macedonian Pharmaceutical

Association and Faculty of Pharmacy, Ss Cyril and Methodius University.

We believe that scientific program including plenary lectures, oral presentations and poster

sessions will result in enrichment of knowledge and exchange of experience among scientists,

researchers and practitioners. The Congress will cover new challenges in all fields of

pharmaceutical science and professional practice. It will provide an excellent opportunity for

young scientists and researchers as well as renowned researches and practitioners to

exchange opinions, introduce ground-breaking ideas and acquire new practical knowledge.

The exhibition of pharmaceutical companies and other companies belonging to the chain of

suppliers of medicines and pharmaceutical products will be an integral part of the Congress.

The attractive and rich social program will create a perfect atmosphere for connecting with

longtime fellows, building long- lasting friendships and memorable friendly gatherings.

We look forward to welcoming you in Ohrid, a beautiful Macedonian pearl, situated along the

coast of Ohrid Lake in June 2016.

Instructions for authors

The Scientific committee of 6th Congress of Pharmacy of Macedonia with international participation has reach decision that submitted scientific works should be in form of short-papers (not abstracts) as they will be published in special issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin as short communications. Therefore, please note that submitted short-papers should have 6000-9400 characters including spaces that approximately refer to two pages text. Please follow carefully in detail instructions bellow.

Short-papers should be written in English.As your short-paper will be distributed to all delegates of the 6th Congress of Macedonia with International participation and published in special issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, we want to make sure that all papers are consistent and have a high-quality appearance.We therefore ask you to follow some simple guidelines.

- Two types of short papers could be submitted, reviews or original scientific. During the submission, please refer to the type of your paper and indicate most appropriate field of

research.- Young researchers under the age of 35 are eligible to apply for Young Scientist Grant. Please

select the appropriate box during registration. The granted young scientists will be released from registration fee. Young Scientist Awardees will be requested to prepare an oral presentation in the appropriate session and a manuscript for potential publication in the Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin.

- Please fill all required fields in the online submission form.- Tables and figures are not acceptable.- The presenting author is expected to attend the congress and present the poster or oral presentation. - The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. - All papers must be submitted in clear English with accurate grammar and

spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Deadline for short paper submission and early registration: February 29th 2016

The scientific committee will inform you about acceptance of the short paper by April 1th, 2016.Accepted short papers will be presented from 2 to 4 June 2016, either orally or in poster form. All accepted short papers will be published in a special issue of the Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin. Publication is dependent upon payment of registration fee.The authors of the best selected papers and winners of the Young Scientist Grant will be invited to extend them for publication in regular issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin Vol. 62, 2016 indexed by DOAJ and EBSCO.

Oral presentationsThe time limit for oral contributions will be exactly 20 minutes including 5 minutes discussion. Presentations will be made with a LCD projector.

PostersPosters will be presented during special sessions. The panels for the poster presentation are of the following size: height 100 cm, width 70 cm, portrait format.

Scientific ProgrammeOn Thursday, 2 June, plenary lecturers will give introductory overviews on topics of the Congress. In addition, from Thursday afternoon, 2 June till to Saturday, 4 June parallel sessions will provide an exceptional platform for enrichment of knowledge and exchange of experience among academia, industry and practitioners.

Social ProgrammeThe Welcome Reception to be held on Wednesday, 1 June 2016 will create a perfect atmosphere for connecting with longtime fellows, building long-lasting friendships and memorable friendly gatherings.

Second Announcement

Ohrid is the largest city on Lake Ohrid and the eighth-largest city in the country. Ohrid is notable for having had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as a "Jerusalem (of the Balkans)". The city is rich in picturesque houses and monuments, and tourism is predominant. In 1979 and in 1980, Ohrid and Lake Ohrid were accepted as Cultural and Natural Worild Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In fact, Ohrid is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO's World Heritage that are both Cultural and Natural sites. Ohrid is the leading touristic town in Macedonia.
