Parents of children in Pre-K through second grade are asked to pick up their children following Sunday School or the 11 a.m. worship service.Nursery Nurseries are provided for infants and toddlers during the worship services and Sunday School. We also provide a Mother/Infant Room equipped with audio located beside Nursery 1. Ushers are available to direct you.Spiritual CareIf you would like to speak to someone about what it means to know Jesus Christ or if you have any spiritual need or question, please use one of the prayer cards in the attendance pad folder to contact a pastor. Our church elders are also available to speak with you. An elder will be standing next to the pastor following the service.

Additional Seating Additional seating for morning and evening worship services is available each week in St. Andrew’s Hall.

WelcomeWe are very glad to have you worshiping our gracious God with us today.

As stewards of God’s resources, we try not to print an excess of bulletins. We invite you to bring this bulletin with you when you return for the evening service.

The Advent Wreath CelebrationEach Sunday during the Advent season we light a candle in our morning services and read the corresponding Scripture so that we may focus our attention on Jesus and glorify him. We use three purple candles representing Hope, Love and Peace, and a pink candle representing the Joy that is ours because of Christ’s coming into the world and into our hearts and lives. The white candle in the center of the wreath is lit on Christmas Day and represents the birth of Jesus. This tradition, dating back to A.D. 600, reminds us that the center of the Church and the center of our Christmas celebration is Christ Jesus.

The Corporate Confession of Sin

The Personal Confession of Sin (Please kneel if able to do so)

The Assurance of Pardoning Grace ...................................................... 1 Peter 1:9-10But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

God in heaven, you are good beyond all thought, but I am vile, wretched, miserable, and blind. My lips are ready to confess, but my heart is slow to feel and my ways hesitant to improve. I bring my soul to you; break it, wound it, bend it, and mold it. Unmask sin’s deformity to me that I may hate it, abhor it, and flee from it. Work in me a more profound and abiding repentance. Give me the fullness of godly grief that trembles and fears. May I see more clearly through the tears of repentance the brightness and glories of the saving cross of Jesus. adapted from The Valley of Vision

†The Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
