The Malignancy Secondary Objective List

Completed Objective

Subsume them All! The Malignancy exists to spread their infestation… all will become us! Requirements – None Victory Conditions – Each model that you remove from the table using the Malignant Infestation rule grants you 1 MP. Failure Conditions – At the end of the battle, if you lost the primary mission, your opponent has a chance to recover their infested models. Each model rolls a Gotta Keep Fighting roll (modified by any present Medics etc.) if they succeed, they have defeated your infestation and you lose 1 MP.

Mark of the Infestation

Each Malignant Nest has its own mark that tells other nests to stay out of their territory… place those marks and expand our rule! Requirements – Markers to represent Malignant Tags. Victory Conditions – A Malignant model within an area of terrain can expend one action to spray paint their nest’s tag mark on a wall or floor. Place a marker in base contact to represent this. Each active mark on the table at the end of the game grants you 1 MP. Each terrain section can hold 1 mark per 6” section or area. Failure Conditions – If your opponent moves into base contact with one of your markers, they can spend an action to erase it. Erased marks do not count towards MPs at the end of the game.

One of Us (optional*) The Malignancy is nothing if not insidious. One of your opponent’s models has been infested, but has yet to show the signs. Requirements – None Victory Conditions – Select one of your opponent’s models as infested (this must be a model with the Follower keyword). If this model moves within 6” of a model with the Psychic keyword, it must make a Gotta Keep Fighting roll at the end of the turn, or it converts to your faction and grants you 2 MP. You now control and activate the model until the end of the game. However, at the end of each turn, the converted model gets to make a Gotta Keep Fighting roll. Failure Conditions – The chosen mode that is converted makes a Gotta Keep Fighting roll at the end of each turn. If it passes, it has defeated the Malignant Infestation, but cannot activate normally for 1 turn and is knocked down. You lose 3 MP.

*You may elect not to pursue this objective at the start of the game. In which case simply inform your opponent that this is the case.
