Secondary Progressions ReportINTRODUCTION: PROGRESSED CHART

Your Personality Profile is revealed by the imprints of the planets in your NATAL Chart. TheNATAL REPORT is a projection of "Personality Potential" and can be compared to a "Blueprint" ofa building that is being planned for construction. At different stages of development while thebuilding is being built, certain additions, deletions and/or other changes may become desirable (oreven necessary) and the original blueprint may be modified to accommodate those changes. And soit is with your personality as indicated by your NATAL Chart. During the "building" of your life,your personality is being developed, and the imprints of the personality blueprint are being modifiedand/or changed, both by your own choices and by circumstances beyond your control.

The progression of the planets as they continue their respective orbits into different signs and houses,and the aspects they form, are beyond our control. But we DO have some control over how wehandle these new influences, and how we let them affect our personality. In order to deal with theseinfluences, it certainly would help for us to know WHAT these influences are, and WHEN we willhave to deal with them. The PROGRESSED REPORT provides that information: the WHAT, theWHEN, and (in some reports) the HOW.

Now, for the first time, we have a Progressed Report that not only tells us WHAT, WHEN, andHOW--it also tells us HOW LONG! It locates the signs, the aspects, and the house positions for eachof the planets for any given year of your life and tells you how long they will remain in thosepositions. With each of the interpretations for these progressed planetary positions, we include abrief synopsis of the influences and imprints of its position in your Natal Chart for your comparison.

Many techniques for following the development of man from birth through life have been devisedand studied by Astrologers since about the second or third century BC. The technique used in thisReport is called "Secondary Progressions". This system uses the "Day for a Year" process which

appears to have been practiced since Ptolemy and Copernicus, and was supported by the Germanmathematician Johannes Kepler (1571-1630). The system is implemented by choosing a specificbirthday. We then count a day for each year of your life, and cast a chart for the "progressedbirthday".

The Progressed chart is the first chart used in Predictive Astrology, for it provides a good previewand overview of what you can expect in the coming year. We feel that the Progressed chart providesthe first step toward using Astrology for a better and more fully informed way of living life -- AS ITUNFOLDS.

When combined with information obtained from a "FORECAST REPORT", OR "TRANSITREPORT", which interprets the aspects of the transiting planets (where the planets actually WILL beat any given time), we can get an extremely comprehensive body of predictive information for any"progressed year"--and beyond. Check with your personal Astrologer for information concerningthese Reports.

YOUR PROGRESSED ASCENDANT

Like the Sun-sign, progressing the chart will change the sign on the cusp of the first house, yourAscendant. It will also bring influences of the new sign into play upon the personality in changing,modifying, and "blending" experiences. Each time a new sign "rises" on the first house, you may feela little disoriented, especially during the first year or two. This is because different methods, or"styles" of operating in interpersonal and business transactions can vary considerably under theinfluence of different Rising signs. Since the Ascendant represents the face (the "Mask") we showthe world, others may begin to see us in a different light before we become aware of any changes inourselves.

Unlike the Sun's thirty-year cycle, the change cycles of the Ascendant may not be as predictable asthe Sun, since the houses may have more, or less, than thirty degrees. Casting the chart for the placeof residence instead of the birthplace can also affect the degree of the Ascendant. The exact time ofchanges from the birth chart Ascendant and from the progressed Rising-signs can be difficult to tracewhen changes of residence are extreme.

The Rising sign in the Progressed chart determines the signs on the houses, just as it does in theNatal chart. Each time the Ascendant changes, the sign on the cusps of the other eleven houses maychange, also. The interpretations of the signs on the houses will give some clues regarding the affairsof each house during the year for which the Progressed chart is cast. These signs on the cusps maynot change very much from year to year unless you move your place of residence a significantdistance from one geographic location to another.

Your Progressed Ascendant is now at fifteen degrees of the sign, Aquarius. The followinginterpretations are for the current year and place of residence.

PROGRESSED AQUARIUS RISING WITH NATAL ASCENDANT IN SAGITTARIUS--Peoplewith Sagittarius rising may appear very practical but extremely idealistic at the same time. The rulerof Sagittarius rising is Jupiter, the "Great Benefic". According to the ancients, Jupiter is the planet of"Luck", and even modern Astrologers relate its influences to optimism, good humor, and a happy-go-lucky manner. Others see you as a person who believes in miracles and grace, or just plain goodluck: as someone who never gives up on life, and who will inspire and encourage others to keeplooking forward. They will expect much from you, for your natural optimism is likely to make youan overachiever, constantly setting unrealistic goals for yourself (and others), which, with luck, youjust might be able to pull off. Actually you can be critical of loved ones, but if you do have children theyare likely to have outstanding intellectual ability. PROGRESSED CANCER ON 6TH HOUSE--Cancer is ruled by the Moon. When found on the sixthhouse of work, service, and health in the Progressed Chart, the influences they provide will all havean emotional overtone. PROGRESSED VIRGO ON 8TH HOUSE--Virgo is also ruled by Mercury. When progressed to theeighth house of primal instincts and others' resources, family income is likely to includecontributions from partners and/or spouse. You are aware of death and health matters, so youprobably are very insurance minded during this time. PROGRESSED LIBRA ON 9TH HOUSE--Venus rules Libra. With this sign progressed to the ninthhouse of the higher mind, your ideas about religion and philosophy will border on the beautiful andthe harmonious. You are likely to be attracted to the traditional only if there is ritual and song. Youwill feel the need to get the philosophical areas of your life in balance during this time. PROGRESSED SCORPIO ON 10TH HOUSE--Scorpio is ruled by Pluto. PROGRESSED SAGITTARIUS ON 11TH HOUSE--Jupiter, planet of expansion and luck, rulesSagittarius. This house position in the Progressed Chart indicates many optimistic and outstandingfriends who could inspire you to greater accomplishments. Some of your most idealistic dreamscould be realized now. You are likely to join organizations which give you the opportunity to expandpersonally during this progression.

PROGRESSED CAPRICORN ON 12TH HOUSE--Saturn, planet of order and discipline, rulesCapricorn. With this sign progressed to the twelfth house of limitations and the subconscious, theresult can cause subconscious fears and add to your limitations. However, if you can bring forth thesubconscious to the conscious, this can be an extremely powerful asset. It would certainly bolsteryour self-confidence if you could discipline and "order" your intuition and sub-conscious thoughts!

PROGRESSED SUN IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

The Sun moves forward (counter-clockwise) in the Progressed chart from its Natal position at theapproximate rate of one degree for each year of life. This means that the Sun will progress into adifferent sign by, or before, age thirty. Remember that these Natal Sun-sign influences are with us allour lives in the form of birth imprints. In the Progressed chart, the new Sun-sign will influence,enhance, modify, and/or blend with those in the Natal chart--and so with any subsequent progressedSun-signs. The influences may be most recognizable during the first year for which a Progressedchart has been cast after the Sun has moved into the next sign. Sometimes there can be events orsituations which trigger significant life changes (relocation, graduation, job change, marriage,divorce, new home, etc.). Some of these could vividly high-light the influences of the Sun enteringinto a different sign.

As you read this report, look back over your life and try to remember if there were any events thatcould have changed your directions or goals when the Sun entered a new sign. You can count backto 00 degrees from the Sun-Sign degree of this chart to find the year, letting each degree count asone year. Allow about three years on either side of that actual date.

At the end of the thirty years that each new Sun-sign remains in the Progressed charts, thepersonality will have somewhat absorbed and assimilated the influences of all of these Sun-signpositions--and so with the new progressions to come. PROGRESSED SUN IN SCORPIO WITH NATAL SUN IN VIRGO--With your NATAL Sun inVirgo, you are modest and humble, and you rarely strive to be in the limelight or in a position ofpower. You have a sharply analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, and you prefer to observe, dissect,and study life from a distance. What you may lack in self-confidence you often make up for inskill--developing expertise, technical knowledge, and competency in some specialized area. Tenth house position generally indicatespersons who are ambitious to attain positions of responsibility, power, and authority. You are likelyto be rather dignified during this time and could have a strong will to succeed. During this houseposition, your desire for honor and recognition will increase, and you will work hard to acquire thenecessary knowledge and skills to achieve your goals. You are probably a good manager anddemand respect. You will also want to set a good example for others. You need to watch out,however, for an excessive love of power and for dictatorial attitudes.

PROGRESSED MOON IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

The close proximity of the Moon to the earth and its rotation around the earth causes it to passbetween the earth and each sign of the Zodiac quite rapidly. It averages about thirteen degrees perday--a little less than three days per sign. Under the day-for-a-year progression system, it will takeapproximately thirty months, two-and-a-half years, for it to complete each life-cycle of the Moon.

The Moon is the only "planet" that could show up more than once in a Progressed chart in the samesign in which it was found in the Natal chart. Although these natal influences "imprint" ourpersonalities and are with us throughout our lifetime, when the Moon appears in the same sign in the

Progressed chart, it can give us an opportunity to modify even those natal imprints to some extent. Inthe delineations for the Progressed Moon-signs, we will include the Natal Moon-sign interpretations.

In mythology the Moon is always female--as the Sun is always male. In most ancient cults andreligions, the Moon represents the female force which reflects the male force of the Sun. There weremany ancient Lunar holidays and festivals. In modern religion, the date for the Easter holiday is stilldetermined by the Moon's orbit.

In astrology, "she" dispenses her influences indiscriminately upon male and female alike, thougheach sex is likely to respond to the influences in somewhat different ways. The Moon-signinfluences in the Progressed chart will affect the emotional side of your personality as it wasimprinted by the sign the Moon was in at birth and modified by subsequent progressed Moon-signinfluences. The intensity of the changes can range from deeply sub-conscious to dramaticallyemotional.

Your Progressed Moon is now at 09 degrees of an approximate two-and-a-half-year life cycle in thesign, Libra. You should have, roughly, 22 months left until it moves into the next Moon-sign cycle.

PROGRESSED MOON IN LIBRA WITH NATAL MOON IN ARIES--When your NATAL Moonis in the sign of Aries, you could behave in precipitous ways without considering the consequencesor how it affects others. We suggest that you compare them alsowith the same interpretations in your Natal Chart.

PROGRESSED: SCORPIO SUN AND LIBRA MOON--Scorpio is a water sign in the Fixed mode:Libra is an air sign in the Cardinal mode. When this combination is in your Progressed chart, therewill be an intense drive for success through ambition. This could over-shadow domestic concerns.You could either swamp your family with your personality, or ignore them while pursuing yourcareer. You tend to suppose that everyone will think the same way as you do. You can be attractiveand clever, and with diplomacy and determination you could be an effective politician. You willbelieve in justice and fair play during this life cycle, and judicial discrimination will help to protectyour self-esteem. Your personal idealism needs to gain down-to-earth reality. PROGRESSED MERCURY IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

Mercury in the signs gives clues to the kinds of concerns that occupy your mind and reveals yourpsychological approach to making decisions and conveying your ideas to others. Mercury influencesthe kind of communications you have with other people throughout the year: those received as well

as those you send. It indicates shifts in mental focus and intellectual attention as they are impactedby the influences of the Progressed sign. During this period, you see things accurately, but not necessarilycharitably. You may use sharp language, but you will "call a spade a spade", and will not mincewords. If you cannot express yourself openly, you will remain silent. The focus will be more uponself than on concern for others. You will be more inclined to work alone, for you find it difficult totrust others in your ambitious struggle for success. The combination of the influences of these twosigns can provide enormous power for success and the achievement of personal goals. You canbecome cool and calculating and strongly motivated to becoming successful in whatever you striveto achieve. You will have much resourcefulness and great determination of mind, and can surmountobstacles during this time that many would not attempt. PROGRESSED VENUS IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

Though there may be a very little stretch oroverlap, we are pretty safe in estimating a degree of progression per year for Venus, as with the Sun.

PROGRESSED VENUS IN CAPRICORN WITH NATAL VENUS IN LIBRA--When Venus is inthe sign Libra in the NATAL Chart, it indicates that harmonious relationships are extremelyimportant to you, especially in marriage. You are attractive to (and attracted to) the opposite sex, andyou have the ability to understand the feelings of others.
