In this 3 month internship, the problem I face that is the thing Ilearned in college in barely enough to become a professional designer inthis career. Not only the design skill but also lack of the communicatetechnique and presentation skill. These elements are important for adesign in their future. Besides having Photoshop and Illustrator skill Ialso require to understanding other knowledge and skill such as HTMLcode, ash, professional video editing tool such as Adobe After Effect

and Adobe Premier.

The basic design software technique I learned from college such asAdobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other related design software hasapplied on the project during internship. Some shortcut key command ands hidden technique are quite useful in project and made my progress gofaster than usual. Especial the outline tool and vector of Illustrator ismost recommended to use in design to avoid resolution problem and moreexible than Photoshop. Besides that, the knowledge of typography anddesign element that learned in college is also being great help in this3 month internship.

As a designer, the software we mostly use will be the Adobe Photoshopand Illustrator. Consider to the characteristic of my internship company,the company mostly receive job that related to packaging, brochure,restaurant menu, poster, photography and other job that have bigrelation with printing and publishing. Because of this, during this 3month internship I have improve my Photoshop and Illustrator skill for

packaging, poster and other project which related to printing. Thereare some special printing such emboss, UV light print, texture andmore.

For Photoshop, because the senior creative designer willing to teach me,now I knew how to crop a photo in effective way by using pen tool.Other technique of Photoshop I learned during internship is how to playwith the layer and the way to use layer mask.

Lastly, the most important thing I learned is never give up and willingto change and edit the design until it become perfect and satised.

During this in this internship, I learned all kind of technique & knowledgein design career, especially some design software like Adobe Photoshop andAdobe illustrator the software which been use in this career. Because of thisinternship, it help me explore the eld of Adobe Photoshop and learn someuseful skill such as path tracing to use for crop photo, make selection, andother usage. For Adobe Illustrator, It helps me to use this software in moreeffective way that I never see before. Not only the improvement of designskill and technique but also the experience in this design career. As a de-signer, the only job and duty is not just design what the client request to.We designer also need to think other issue to make the design look effectivein the way to telling the message.

During this internship, I learned the correct working attitude is importantfrom my boss and senior creative designer. We cannot refuse or reject anyassignment or work from senior or boss just because we think that we donthave the ability to do. As a designer we all needed to try and challengenew things that we never done and experienced before. In that case, we

will only improve and explore a new dimension of view in design career.

During this 3 month internship program, I communicate with my workmateby using mandarin. Even though there is no language problem tocommunicate, but I still talk less than usual because of the uncomfortablebeen in this environment. After that, I able to communicate with themeasily since they are more friendly than I expect and make me have morecourage and skill to communicate with other people too.
