2.0 RODUCTS

Gener'(

To ensure that the correct thic;ness of insulation has 9een a%%lie&1 theContractor shall cut section of the insulation s%ecifie& (here &irecte& 9' the#n)ineer.

The Contractor shall allo( for the cost of these cuttin)s an& ma;in) )oo& inhis Ten&er.

Shoul& such cuttin) outs in&icate that the insulation is in an' (a'ina&equate further test sections shall 9e cut out as &irecte& 9' the

#n)ineer. In the eent of the insulation 9ein) unacce%ta9le the (hole ofthe insulation or such %art as the #n)ineer shall &irect1 shall 9e stri%%e&an& re<e$ecute& at contractor:s cost.





The Contractor shall 9e res%onsi9le for the %rotection of all equi%ment&urin) the a%%lication of the insulation.

6.4 The Contractor is to allo( in his %rice for the remoal an& re%lacement oft(o sections of each t'%e of insulation. If1 ho(eer1 &efects are reeale&1further sections shall 9e cut out for ins%ection1 an& all cutout sections shall9e re%lace& at no cost to the Contract.

If further &efects are reeale& then the #n)ineer shall hae the ri)ht1 (henin its o%inion it is necessar'1 to issue instructions for an' %art or the (holeof the insulation to 9e remoe& an& re%lace&. The re%lacement (ith ne(insulation shall 9e to the satisfaction of the Com%an' an& the cuttin) outan& re%lacin) shall 9e at no cost to the Contract.

6.6 0articular attention shall 9e %ai& to the finishe& a%%earance of all thermalinsulation (hich must %resent a neat an& s'mmetrical a%%earance runnin)true in line (ith %i%e la'outs1 etc.

6., An' rou)h1 irre)ular an& 9a&l' finishe& surfaces shall 9e stri%%e& &o(n an&re<insulate& to the Com%an':s satisfaction.

6.7 All s'stems are to hae 9een teste& an& a%%roe& 9' the #n)ineer %rior toinstallation of insulation.





6. The insulation1 in sies in&icate& shall 9e a%%lie& oer clean1 &r' surfaces. A&?oinin) sections of insulation shoul& 9e 9utte& firml' to)ether (ith thelon)itu&inal seam of the ?ac;et locate& on the 9ottom half of the %i%e.

6.- The insulation shall 9e installe& in accor&ance (ith the manufacturer:s%rinte& instructions.
