Smith honored For Playoff WinSt. Francis coach Jerry Smith has been named the
Buffalo Bills Coach of the Week after his Red Raidersbeat Bishop Timon 53-8 in the Msgr. Martin Associationsemifinals.
“Timon is a pretty tough team,” Smith said. “It wasnʼt aseasy as the score would indicate. It was 0-0 after one quar-ter and we just exploded.”
Timon actually movedthe ball against St. Francisearly in the contest, just asthe Tigers did in a regular-season game between theteams. The Raiders wonthe initial meeting 42-27.
“We thought they wouldthrow the ball,” Smith said.“They tried to do that lasttime. We adjusted ourdefense to take away thepass and they came outand ran.”
As the game wore on,the Raiders defense beganto take over.
“We adjusted in ourzone and stopped them,”Smith said. “Our defensemade the changes and thekids stepped up. We hadan interception return for aTD and we made a coupleof other big plays.”
Akeel Lynch poweredthe offense as he rushedfor 228 yards and 2 TDs.
“We could have kept himin but we donʼt pad any-oneʼs stats,” Smith said.“Our offensive line playedwell but feel like they couldhave played better.”
Alex Misterman scoredon a 68-yard run and alsocaught a TD pass from QB Brian Melisz.
“It was a great team effort,” Smith said. “The specialteams played well. Everyone got in to play and a lot ofkids contributed.”
St. Francis will now play St. Joeʼs for the Msgr. MartinAssociation championship in Ralph Wilson Stadium onThursday.
“This is great for all of Western New York,” Smith said.“You have, arguably, two of the best players in our area, going at it for a championship.”
Lynch and St. Joeʼs quarterback Chad Kelly are bothfinalists for the Connolly Cup, awarded to the best player
in Western New York by the Riverside Athletic Club.“In my opinion, Akeel should get it,” Smith said. “Iʼm
his coach, so maybe Iʼm a little biased.”Smith did say that he is thrilled that both players will
be playing at the Ralph on Thursday.“Itʼs shame there is only one Connolly Cup,” he said. “I
donʼt think they care eitherway. It would be nice foreither kid to win but itʼs notgoing to define them asplayers. To have two ofthem of that caliber in thisgame is fantastic.”
The game is a re-matchof the 2010 title game, inwhich St. Joeʼs beat theRaiders 49-20.
The Raiders will have notrouble recalling the waythey were trounced.
“Everybody on our teamdressed for that game lastyear,” Smith said. “Thereare no surprises. There isno added pressure. Weexpect to be playing for achampionship every year.”
Smith played QB andsafety for Bishop Turnerunder head coach RayKarney. He graduated in1977 and went to ErieCommunity College for twoyears.
While attending ECC,Smith worked as an assis-tant JV football coach atTurner.
“I did that for 2 years,”he said. “I was the headvarsity wrestling coach atTurner both years. It was agreat experience. It taught
me real quick about being responsible for a whole bunchof other people.”
Smith then played one season at Oskaloosa Collegein Iowa before returning home to play for Canisius.
“I never wanted to be one of those ʻcoulda-woulda-shouldaʼ guys,” Smith said. “I played outside linebackerand played a little bit. Nothing special.”
One year later, in 1981, Smith started at St. Francis asan assistant coach. In 1988 he was named the headcoach. Smith has compiled a record of 127-101-4 in his23 seasons while annually playing high school powersfrom around the Northeast..

home a New York State championship this weekend at the
Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
Orchard Park, which won a NYS title in 2008, will be mak-
ing it’s second trip to the
state final in Class AA.
Southwestern will be
making it’s third trip in
Class C. The Trojans won
state titles in 2008 and
2009.
Orchard Park routed
Binghamton, 35-6, in the
state semifinals before an
estimated 1,600 at Spartan
Stadium at East Syracuse-
Minoa High School.
Senior running back
Okoya Anderson (6-1,
230) ran for 203 yards and
3 TDs on 30 carries to
lead the offense.
Senior QB David
Crowley was efficient as
he completed 6-of-9 pass-
es for 185 yards and 2
TDs. Crowley was not intercepted as OP improved to 12-0.
James Fitzgerald had 10 tackles to lead the defense.
Fitzgerald led the Quakers ‘Big Cat’ offense as Orchard
Park scored 3 TDs in the fourth quarter for a comeback victo-
ry over Rush-Henrietta in last week’s Far West Regionals.
Orchard Park will play Newburgh Free Academy at 6 pm
Sunday for the New York State Class AA championship.
Southwestern beat Waverly (IV), 19-13, before an estimat-
ed 1,800 at East Syracuse-Minoa High School's Spartan
Stadium. The Trojans took advantage of six Waverly turnovers
as they advanced to next Sunday's state championship.
The Trojans took a 13-6 lead at the half. QB Jake Pilling,
tossed an 11-yard TD to junior Andy Greenlee and a 36-yard
TD to Jake Swan. Tanner Hoose kicked a pair of field goals
for a 19-6 lead in the 4th quarter.
Southwestern suffered its first regular season loss in four
years (to Salamanca) in Week Four, but has not lost since.
The Trojans have won several close games in the post-sea-
son, including an OT win over Fredonia and a 10-0 defensive
battle over Cleveland Hill for the Section VI championship).
The Trojans also beat Section V (Rochester area) champion
Wellsville 24-6 in the Far West Regionals.

St. Francis beat St. Joeʼs 37-16 in the Msgr. MartinAssociation Championship game at Ralph WilsonStadium last week.
“I was very nervous going into the game,” St. Franciscoach Jerry Smith said. “I was worried about how ourguys would respond when they made mistakes. I was justhoping that no one walked off the field wishing they couldhave done more and thatdidnʼt happen. Every one ofour kids responded well andgave everything they could.”
This is the first Msgr.Martin title for St. Francissince 2008.
“Iʼm especially glad forthis group of seniors,” Smithsaid. “Itʼs always great to goout as a champion.”
The game was billed as ameeting of the two bestplayers in Western NewYork - but it was unsungplayers that stepped into thespotlight.
St. Francis RB AkeelLynch rushed for 167 yardsand 2 TDs in the first half.Shortly before the break,Lynch broke through a holeand suddenly went down.He had suffered a turf toeinjury and left the game.
Lynch carried the ball justtwice in the second half dueto the injury.
“He ran angry when hewas in there,” Smith said.“He tried to come back inthe second half but hecouldnʼt go. Akeel threw allof his support behind the other guys.”
St. Joeʼs QB Chad Kelly had a big night but was some-what limited. He completed 15 of 35 passes for 203yards. Kelly also rushed 14 times for 122 yards and 2TDs. Several of Kellyʼs runs were highlight-reel scrambleswhere he turned away from several would-be tacklersbefore heading downfield.
“Chad Kelly made a name for himself in this game lastyear,” Smith said. “This year we had two of the best play-ers to ever come out of WNY. Our guys showed we werenot a one-man team. We have a lot of talent out thereand we have a very good team. Maybe we had a coupleof other kids make a name for themself this year.”
St. Francis RB Alex Misterman replaced Lynch andrushed 18 times for 150 yards, including a 23-yard TD.
“If Akeel wasnʼt on our team, Alex would be our star,”
Smith said. “I give him a tremendous amount a credit toput selfishness to the side and sacrifice for the better ofthe team.”
Misterman has played several positions this season, inaddition to serving as Lynchʼs relief at running back.
“He plays whatever we want,” Smith said. “Heʼs playedcornerback, linebacker and nose tackle for us. He is
strong, very quick and explo-sive. He zips right by theoffensive line and gets pres-sure on the quarterback.”
Misterman, a junior, alsomaintains a 90-academicaverage and is one ofWNYʼs top lacrosse players.
“Alex is one of those kidswhere, if you look at stats, you donʼt realize how impor-tant he is,” Smith said.
St. Francis QB BrianMelisz threw just three pass-es and completed one - butit was a big one. With St.Francis holding a 23-16 leadearly in the 4th quarter,Melisz tossed a 50-yard TDpass.
“Brian had a great game,”Smith said. “He audibled andcaught them with nine in thebox and without a safetry. The pass was perfect.”
Melisz also had two bigruns on 3rd down that keptscoring drives alive.
“There is a lot more tobeing a QB than just throw-ing passes,” Smith said. “Youhave to put everyone else inthe right spot. This was
Brianʼs break-out game. He played great.”Another player that had a big game was Dominic
Buccieri, the Raiders kicker and punter. Several times, Buccieri angled his kickoffs into the cor-
ner and pinned St. Joeʼs return men deep into their ownterritory. One kickoff almost resulted in a safety as theRaiders made the tackle inside the 1-yardline.
“He placed those kickoffs perfectly,” Smith said. “Heʼs akid that really should be considered for all-Western NewYork.”
Buccieri also plays wide receiver and defensive backfor St. Francis.
“He plays everything,” Smith said. “He also returnspunts and kicks for us. Heʼs a player so we want him onthe field.”

Player of the YearBy Mark Adair
After leading his teamto a 10-1 record and afifth straight Section 6championship, JordanJohnson has been namedthe Player of the Year bythe Football Weekly.
Johnson rushed for 3TDs and intercepted apass as the Panthers beatWilliamsville South inRalph Wilson Stadium towin Sweet Homeʼs 5thstraight Class A title. ThePanthers fell behind earlyto Aquinas in the Far WestRegionals and lost 49-20.
“We just couldnʼt stopthem,” Sweet Home coachJohn Faller said. “Wehave a good team butAquinas is a great team.”
Johnson said that heis pleased with thePanthers fifth straightSection 6 title but he willbe bothered by the sea-son-ending loss toAquinas.
“As a whole it was agreat season,” he said.“Aquinas is just a greatteam and they came outon top. They were thebetter team.”
Johnson said that heis proud of the way his team finished the season.
“I enjoyed myself this year,” he said. “It was a greatyear and it was fun to be out on the field with my team. Our players really cared about each other and cametogether. We really grew as a team by the end of theyear. Our ultimate goal was to win a state championship. We didnʼt do that but it was still a great year.”
The senior finishes his high school career with arecord of 33-2... 20-2 as Sweet Homeʼs starting QB. Hestarted at defensive end as a sophomore when SweetHome finished 13-0 and won the New York StateChampionship.
In the three seasons that Johnson was a varsity play-er, Sweet Home won all 30 games against WNY teams.
The Panthers have nowwon 50 straight gamesagainst WNY opponents.
The past two sea-sons, Sweet Home haslost only to Aquinas -despite the fact that thePanthers roster is drasti-cally different than twoyears ago.
“Jordan had a differ-ent team in front of him,”Faller said. “Itʼs different. We had all-state runningbacks and receivers. There were more bulletsin the gun with thatgroup. Itʼs just not thesame and we still wontwo straight champi-onships.”
The Panthers, simply, were not the same teamthat won back-to-backNYS championships in2008 and 2009.
“None of our startinglinemen were back fromlast year,” Faller said.“We had a lot of kidsthat were good playersbut we didnʼt have thesame type of guns wehad in the past.”
It was known as earlyas August that Sweet
Home was going to need a huge year from Johnson.“There was a lot put on his shoulders this year,” Faller
said. “He knew it coming into the season and I think heanswered the call pretty well.”
Johnson rushed for 1,365 yards and 22 TDs this sea-son. He averaged an incredible 9.5 yards per carry. Thisfall, in almost every contest, Johnson made a huge playat a critical part of the game. Even in the Panthers loss toAquinas, he returned an interception 65 yards for a TD.
Johnson completed 58 of 111 passes for 830 yardsand 9 TDs in 2011. He also returned punts and kickoffs.
“He came into the season with confidence because of
Sweet Home QB Jordan Johnson was named thePlayer of the Year. Johnson led Sweet Home to a20-2 record as the Panthers starting QB.

what he did last year,” Faller said. “He rushed for over1,000 yards in both years.”
As the Panthers began the second half of the season,Johnson began to play more on defense. He intercepteda pass in the Panthers win at ʻThe Ralphʼ.
“He played defensive end and defensive back,” Fallersaid. “In the playoffs, he knew we needed him more andmore and he stepped upand performed.”
Once the Panthersreached the playoffs,Johnson did everything.
He rushed for 206yards and 2 TDs in afirst-round win over WestSeneca East.
In the semifinals,Johnson ran for twotouchdowns and threwfor another to rally SweetHome to an 18-14 victo-ry over Bennett. He led ascoring drive in thefourth quarter to putSweet Home up, 18-14,its first lead of the day.
“Bennett was tough,”Faller said. “They werebig and physical. We hadto come from behind andJordan made a couple ofplays.”
That happened morethan once this season.
“We had to come frombehind a few times andhe always seemed tomake a play for us,”Faller said. “Therewerenʼt many gameswhere he didnʼt play akey role. When anyonelined up against us, they knew they had to stop Jordan.”
Johnson says that it wasnʼt a one-man show.“It was a team effort,” Jordan said. “The ball is in my
hands because Iʼm the quarterback but anybody on thatteam could have made plays. You have to think about thelinemen that blocked for you and the receiver that caughtthe ball. We were a lot more than just one player.”
Johnson a 6-1, 205-pound senior with 4.4 speed in the40-yard dash, has already verbally committed to play atUB next fall.
“I think UB is a good fit for him,” Faller said. “Heʼll bepart of the recruiting class that will try to turn thingsaround. UB can use him at wide receiver, running back ordefensive back. Weʼll just have to wait and see wherethey put him.”
Faller said that, wherever he plays, Johnson couldhelp UB coach Jeff Quinn.
“Jordan is that good of an athlete,” Faller said. “Heʼllcan play wherever they need him. Heʼs upbeat, he has agood attitude and heʼs a winner.”
Faller also said that Johnson will walk into a good situ-ation at UB.
“The MAC is a goodleague to play in,” hesaid. “Itʼs not the SECbut itʼs no slouch, either.Jordan has a chance toplay and help turnaround a Division I-Aprogram. I think heʼll dowell there.”
Johnson says he islooking forward to playingcollege football. Heplayed basketball forthree years but droppedthe sport this winter so hecan run track instead.
“I wanted to runindoor track to keep myspeed up and get readyfor college,” he said. “Ireally canʼt wait to playcollege football.”
Johnson says that hehopes that Sweet Homecan win a 6th straightClass A title in 2012.
“Itʼs their team now,”he said. “I think theyʼll beokay. There is talent atSweet Home. We mighthave the best and thebest coaches around.Weʼll be all right as faras our tradition is con-cerned.”
Heʼll be watching closely from his spot at UB - which isjust a long punt from Sweet Homeʼs football field.
“UB is about five minutes from my house,” Johnsonsaid. “Iʼm looking forward to it. I wanted to stay home andplay but you still never know what will open up. As longas the staff is close and you have a coach that caresabout his family and his team, thatʼs really the place youwant to go.”
In addition to all of his accomplishments on the field,Johnson maintains a 3.0 GPA and scored well enough onthe SAT and the ACT to sail through the NCAAClearinghouse.
“I donʼt know how much more you can ask from a highschool football player,” Faller said. “I think Jordan repre-sented himself and our school very well.”

All In The FamilyBy Mark Adair
Southwestern advancedto its third New York Statechampionship game in fouryears as it beat Section IVchampion Waverly, 19-13last weekend. The Trojanstook advantage of sixWaverly turnovers - five inthe second half - as theyheld off the Binghamton-area school.
Southwestern, whichbeat Wellsville 24-6 in theFar West Regionals, is now11-1. The Trojans will tryand win the schoolʼs 3rdNYS Class C title thisweekend against DobbsFerry on the Carrier Domeat Syracuse University.
Southwestern coach JaySirianni has been namedthe Coach of the Year bythe Football Weekly.
While the previous NYSchampionship teams fromSouthwestern were loadedwith All-state players whowould move on to play incollege, this yearʼs Trojanshad to do more with less.
“All season long peoplewere saying that we werenʼtthe Southwestern teams oftwo years ago,” Siriannisaid. “Well, weʼre not. Welost a lot of kids from the2010 team but, comingback, we had kids that wanted to work. Talent can only getyou so far anyhow. These kids have bought into what we aretrying to do and they wanted to work hard. When you have30 kids that have faith in the system, you can accomplish alot.”
Sirianni is proud of the fact that his team bounced backfrom a regular-season loss to eventual league-championSalamanca. It was the first regular-season loss in four yearsfor Southwestern and they dropped fast in the NYS rankings.
“We lost a football game,” Sirianni said. “It happens.”He also said that naming him Coach of the Year was a
reflection on the entire program.“I havenʼt made a single tackle this year,” Sirianni said.
“We are all excited to be here but our kids earned it.”
Sirianni is certainly nearthe top of any list of WNYcoaches. In fact, his entirefamily can be considereditʼs own small WNYCoaching Tree.
Sirianniʼs father, Fran, was the head coach atSouthwestern from 1976until 1984.
“My older brother and Iwould go to practice withmy dad all the time,” Jaysaid. “When a lot of myfriendʼs dads were at work,I was at work with my dad.Iʼve been a part ofSouthwestern footballsince the day I was born.”
Itʼs an understatementto say the Sirianniʼs are aʻfootball familyʼ.
For the last ten years,Jayʼs older brother Mikehas been the head coachat Washington & JeffersonCollege in Pennsylvania.Entering the 2011 season,Sirianni had a won-lostrecord of 82-17.
Jayʼs younger brotherNick is an offensive assis-tant coach in the NFL withthe Kansas City Chiefs.
Thatʼs a lot of coachesto lean on for advice andideas... something Jaysays he does regularly.
“Nick and I talk Wednesday night after the Chiefsʼ prac-tice,” he said. “Sometimes heʼll call me after our game.Sometimes we talk on weekends at midnight or 1 in themorning. Mike will get updates from my dad on the sidelinesduring our games.”
Jay Sirianni says his family was not consumed with foot-ball as he was growing up.
“We were a typical family,” Jay Sirianni said. “My parentswere very much involved in what we were doing. Footballwas just a part of our life. Family was our focal point andfootball was only a part of it.”
Sirianni says that he understands how that popular mis-conception could be spread.

“Iʼve been asked about that a lot,” he said. “People havedefined us that way but itʼs not the most important thing to us.We donʼt just talk strategy. Thatʼs certainly a part of it butthatʼs not all we talk about.”
This past season, Jay asked his father to join the varsitycoaching staff at Southwestern.
“My dad is a big part of Southwestern football,” Jay said.“Heʼs always been around.”
Fran Sirianni was working with Southwesternʼs modifiedteam until the school district discontinued the team duringrecent budget cuts.
“When we dropped modified football we brought him up,”Sirianni said. “I use him as a QB coach and that enables meto work with WRs and RBs. He gives us an extra coach atpractice and thatʼs just huge.”
Fran Sirianni actually got some professional tutoring in howto work with QBs - from a family member of course.
“He went out to Kansas City and watched some quarter-back drills with Nick,” Jay Sirianni said. “He came back with anotebook full of stuff that he got from Jim Zorn, one of thebest QB coaches in the NFL. Dad was pretty excited.”
Fran Sirianni was Southwesternʼs head coach from 1976until 1984. He left the position after he was diagnosed withHodgkins Lymphoma.
“I had to step back and re-evaluate things,” Fran said. “Iwasnʼt able to actively coach but I was able to help out a bit.”
He also said that was a difficult period for the family.“It was hard on those guys,” Fran said. “Mike and Jay were
old enough to know where our family stood and what we werefacing. Mike was going into freshman year and Jay was play-ing modified football. I was able to go to all the games andeventually I beat it. Doctors say re-mission, I say healed.”
Fran Sirianni played football for Kane High School inPennsylvania, near Bradford. He played Division II football forClarion College and was named an All-Conference DB.
He and his wife Amy have been married 40 years and, when his kids were small, he never once thought that theywould all grow to be coaches.
“Itʼs ironic,” Fran said. “In high school, all three of themwould much rather play and coach basketball but they all set-tled on football. They came to every practice and game withme when they were young children. They have been aroundfootball since they were old enough to walk, so itʼs nice.”
Sirianni said that he is immensely proud that each of hissons has been as successful as they have.
“They all put in a lot of hard work,” he said. “and they haveall made their own tracks. Nick could never coach anywherebut the professional football. Mike is at Washington &Jefferson and has the 3rd best winning percentage at all lev-els in the NCAA. Jay will be a lifer at Southwestern. Heʼllnever be interested in coaching anywhere else.”
Jay has put up some amazing records lately. His teamswon 39-straight games and have posted a record 47-2 overthe past four seasons.
“Heʼs an amazing coach,” Fran Sirianni said. “Heʼs amaz-ing teacher, too. Heʼs so good at working with young men.Heʼs so concerned about their character and what they will beafter football.”

The Heart of a Champion Character Playbooktheme is FINISH STRONG!
IT ʻS NOT HOW YOU START THE SEASON, THEGAME OR LIFE... BUT HOW YOU FINISH!!
This weekʼs FINISH STRONG WORD IS Self-Control.
Self-Control: Bringing my thoughts, words, actions andattitudes into constant obedience to truth.
(Truth: a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. A hot-tempered man displays foolishness.)
Athletes and Coaches: Self-Control is to “get a grip” onyour emotions. When your emotions dominate your actions, mistakes are made. Itʼs a discipline. Make the decision tocontrol yourself. It is the direct result of knowledge.
A wise man is strong; a man of knowledge increases instrength… He who is slow to anger is better than themighty warrior.
Self-Control subsequently leads to perseverance. Thatperseverance leads to comebacks.
The difference between average and good and betweengood and great is not the lack of strength or talent but thediscipline of Self-Control. The Finish Strong statement isNERVES …OF STEEL.
Final GUN: “Things will go wrong at times. You cannotalways control circumstances but you can control your atti-tude …” Tony Dungy
If you do, you will fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith and …FINISH STRONG!

It’s not the critic who counts.
Not the man who points out wherethe strong man stumbled or wherethe doer of deeds could have donethem better.
The credit belongs to the man marred by the dust and the sweat and the blood;
who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again and again...
...who at best knows,in the end, the triumphof high achievements and who, at the worst, if he fails at least fails while daring greatly,
so that his place will never be with those cold timid souls who know neither victory or defeat.

Are You Game?
60
In this issue is our annual All-Football Weekly team. Before the season started I asked six area fans who
are deeply involved in the Western New York Footballscene to help with the selection process.
Each of the six went WAY above-and-beyond the call of duty and submitted fourcomplete all-star teams.
I will not name these people. One ofour criteria is that the committee mem-bersʼ identities will remain a secret. I donot want them to start getting pressuredto name certain kids because peopleknow who they are... and where theylive.
Here are a few items to rememberwhen looking over the selections.
1. All-Football Weekly: Theseteams are made up of players fromteams that have participated withthe Football Weekly. If yourschool has chosen not to partici-pate, your players are not eligi-ble. There are four teams inWestern New York that chosenot to participate with our mag-azine in 2011. Players fromthose four schools are notrecognized on the All-Football Weekly team.
2. Positions: EachOffensive Team is made upof 1 Quarterback, 3Running Backs, 2 WideReceivers, 5 Offensive Lineman, 1Tight End, 1 kicker and 1 Specialty Player... 14total.
Each Defensive Team is made up of 4 DefensiveLinemen, 4 Linebackers, 4 Defensive Backs, 1 Punter and1 Specialty Player... 14 total.
3. Team Record: The All Football Weekly Team isloaded with players who helped their teams reach RalphWilson Stadium and the Section 6 finals. It makes sense...the best teams obviously have the best players. While alosing record did disqualify any player from being recog-nized as one of the best players in Western New York, players certainly got noticed when their teams won moregames.
4. Big Games: Big regular season games and playoffgames carried more weight than other games. Big playersdeliver in big games.
5. Behavior Counts: Players who were suspended forbehavioral reasons were not eligible for our post-seasonhonors. The best players should carry themselves withsome sense of dignity. Players who were discipline prob-lems for their teams or their schools were not recognizedat all.
Behavior counts kids... behavior counts more than win-ning football games.
6. Grades Count: Most of these players are superiorstudents... or at least good students. A few struggle withacademics but they try hard. Players who were academi-cally suspended because of outright laziness were not eli-
gible for the team. If you canʼt give half an effort inthe classroom, we will not reward you
with post-season honors.7. One Per
Customer: Manyall-star teams will
list players at multi-ple positions. For the
All-Football Weeklyteam, each player is
listed once. If a line-man is named a 1st-
team offensive lineman,he is not eligible to be
recognized as a 2nd-team linebacker. Sweet
Home QB Jordan Johnsonis our Player of the Year
and, therefore, is not eligi-ble to be listed at a position.
8. Attitude Counts:Players that were guilty of
poor sportsmanship weredowngraded. We may not
throw them off the team, butour best players do not taunt
opposing players or get intoobscene screaming matches.
The best know they are thebest and they act like it.
9. Super Seniors, All-LeagueTeams: Each League in WNY sub-
mitted an All-League team as chosen by the coaches. Also, each coach in Western New York was asked to
nominate players for a catagory that we call SuperSeniors. These are players that have given everything theyhave to their programs. These kids may not be all-stars,but they are all good kids who gave everything they possi-bly could for the betterment of their teams.
We wanted to salute them one final time... and thankthem for putting on a great show for all of us fans out here.
