an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.

This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browser remains private and integral.

It is a protocol developed by Netscape.

CERTIFICATE AUTHORITY They review applications for new certificates and

approve the ones which passes their requirements.

Trusted Root CA store is where all our trusted sites are stored by the browser.
