Application information for all TrimmerTrapbackpack blower racks.

As of this date there have been two models of the BR-1 Backpack BlowerRack and the DB-1 Dual Blower Rack, designated: (BR-1 & DB-1 first genera-tion) and (BR-1-2 & DB-1-2 second generation). (see our web site to determinethe difference between first generation and second generation). Althoughmost blowers will work on the BR-1 (especially the second generation BR-1-2)certain specific blowers require the installation of an adapter kit onto theblower. The part number for this kit is AK-4. The following information willhelp explain this issue.

All STIHL backpack blowers require a special designated TrimmerTrap rack.Use only the following racks to store a STIHL backpack blower.The ST-1 rack is required for all STIHL 300 & 400 series backpack blowers.The ST-2 rack is required for all STIHL 500 & 600 series backpack blowers.

BR-1 First generation

As of this writing to our knowledge all current commercial backpack blowers will fit without the AK-4adapter kit with the following exceptions:

Red Max models 4800, 5000 & 8000 require the AK-4

Echo models 403, 413, 460, 461, 610, 620, 650, 651, 750 & 751 require the AK-4

Special note: Depending on the frame style some Echo models 403, 413, 460, 461 and 610 might notrequire the AK-4.

BR-1-2 Second generation

GP-1 and ET/GP-1 General Purpose Rack The GP-1 is a multipurpose rack designed to secure mostany style backpack blower or sprayer. It is available as an openor enclosed trailer version to meet the needs of just abouteveryone. The bottom retention bracket has different heightsettings and can also be adjusted laterally to provide a snug,custom fit. Each rack includes a custom strap that is widelyadjustable using the attached cam-lock buckle.

Maybe the best feature of the GP-1 is that a backpack blower orsprayer can be installed into the rack while the operator still hasit on their back. This procedure can be performed on an open orenclosed trailer by simply backing up to the rack and setting theblower/sprayer onto the GP-1. You can then remove the shoul-der straps, turn around and secure the tool. With a little practicethis procedure will save you time and energy.

Due to varying designs and different shapes/sizes of equipmentan optional “H’ Strap Kit is available for greater customizedsecurity of your tools. This kit is required for securing backpacksprayers when the GP-1 is used on open trailers.

ET/GP-1

The SR-1 will pre-vent all of these problems.Works for most Solo, Lescoand Echo sprayers with theround tubular frame. Heavygauge 1 1/2 square tube pro-vides super strength. Platedfinish resists chemicals.

Equip your trailer with a Gate Grabber and make rais-ing and lowering the tail gate super easy! Simple designand heavy duty construction for years of use. Thespring is specifically made for this purpose and includesa safety cable that installs inside the spring body. WithGate Grabber the trailers rails are left open leavingmore space for TrimmerTrap products.

Lifting this gate was close to an 80 lb. dead lift with out GateGrabber. After installation the gate could be lifted with one finger. Gate Grabber also makes an excellent location tomount a caution light. Light not included. Check local laws con-cerning lighting.

TC-3 Tire Cage patent pending

The TC-3 Tire Cage will help prevent costly damage to all ofyour equipment by preventing push mowers, edgers,spreaders, vacuums, blowers and other light weight equipmentfrom rolling around during transit. Simply install a cage onto thestand and tighten in place. A unique modular design providesthe versatility to quickly interchange three different size cages.

When not in use you can remove the cages from their stands

and store them on another stand where they are out of the wayyet easily accessible. Vertical adjustment allows you to raise orlower the cages for an exacting fit on various diameter tires.When in this position, a padlock installed just above the cage

will help deter theft. An optional “quick pull pin” provides superfast adjustments to predetermined settings.

MR-1 Multi-Use Trimmer Clamp Patent No. 649445

Every Landscape Contractor needs at least one MR-1 Trimmer Clamp. Quickly load or unload trimmers with the flip of a single lever. The adjustable spring loaded jaws equippedwith large rubber pads clamp down tight, for a firm grip on almost any line trimmer or stick edger. BB-1 BLADE BLOCKER Operator The first and only discharge baffle designed to maintain compliance by operating in conjunction with the factory installed discharge shield on your mower.

With BLADE BLOCKER installed on your mower you can quickly open and close the baffle with a single hand motion. Just think, no more blowing grass clippings off of mulched areas or vehicles. Your properties will look much better the first time you use BLADE BLOCKER.

Baffle in the lowered (closed position) blocks the discharge opening. One half inch thick HDPE (high densitypolyethylene) is used for the baffle. Although practically indestructible it is easily cut with a hand saw to customfit your mowers discharge opening. A small notch in the discharge deflector is the only modification required onmost mowers. Turn buckle linkage with upper & lower ball joints provides flexability and adjustability.

When using BLADE BLOCKER the labor to clean up will be considerably reduced! Many factors effect the operations of a sulky. Terrain conditions such as slope, ground type, ground moisture etc. are all factors. The mower being used to pull the sulky is obviously a major fac-tor. Generally the larger the mower the less effect the sulky will have on the mowers operation. Operator weight and operating style also have an effect. Proper mower setup such as tire pres-

sure, deck pitch/weight balance and drive adjustments become very critical. We recommend a minimum mower size of 48” (preferably with hydro drive) for the Bull Rider sulky. Although opera-tion is satisfactory on certain smaller mowers the factors above should be carefully considered. The Bronco Rider sulky can be used behind most 36” and larger mowers with excellent results. Itis the user’s responsibility to make certain the sulky suits the mover on which it is installed. A mounting bracket which attaches to the lawn mowers motor frame connects the sulky to the mower.Most mowers currently on the market are sufficiently strong in this area; however some mowers such as the Ferris dual drive require an optional reinforcement plate to further strengthen this area.

It is the user’s responsibility to make certain that the optional reinforcement plate is installed on any mower where strength of the motor frame is in question. TrimmerTrap part no. SP-43
