Introit “Sweet, Sweet Spirit” Chancel Choir (Verse) #334 Congregation Join in on Refrain The procession of light invokes the presence of the Holy Spirit into our midst.

Welcoming & Passing the Peace Rev. Fred Mast No Matter where you may find yourself in your faith journey… Congregation: You are welcome here! May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you… Congregation: And also with you!

Please stand as you are comfortable and share the Peace of Christ with one another & remain standing for our Call to Worship

*Call to Worship (Please rise in body or in spirit.) Liturgist I will bless the Lord at all times. God’s praise will continually be in my mouth! O magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt God’s name together! We join with multitudes from every nation, in praise to God and to the Lamb: Blessing and glory and wisdom and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever.

*Opening Hymn “For All the Saints” #711

During our opening Hymn you are invited to come forward and light a candle in memory of some special saint(s) that has gone on to glory.

Sharing Our Joys and Concerns Rev. Fred Mast Pastoral Prayer ~ Lord’s Prayer Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be

done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into tempta-tion, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Amen.

Special Music “Dona Nobis Pacem” Chancel Choir Traditional text Music by Audrey Snyder Dona nobis pacem. Grant us peace.

On this day we acknowledge the saints in our lives – those who have shared their faith journeys as examples of lives well-lived, those who are no longer part of our earthly existence, and all those in our daily lives who demonstrate qualities of service, caring, and justice toward others. We are surrounded by saints! It is appro-priate then that we offer this universal prayer on behalf of all humankind: grant us peace. These familiar Latin words ask for peace. Dona nobis pacem. Peace in these days; peace in our world.

Word & Response

Scripture Matthew 5: 1-12 Liturgist

For the word of God in scripture, for the word of God among us, For the word of God within us, thanks be to God!

Message “Rediscovering Our Need for God” Rev. Fred Mast

*Song of Response “As the Deer” TFWS #2025 (Sing Twice)

Thanksgiving

Invitation to the Offering for the Kingdom of God Liturgist We, in the fullness of our humanity, are the offering that God requires. Come into God’s presence with humili-ty and compassion, with justice-seeking and loving-kindness in your hearts. As the offering is collected, not only give of your worldly treasures, but give of yourself in prayerful offering to God, that you may see where you are blessed, and where you may in turn bless others. Come, let us bring our best offerings to God. Offertory Mary Luttrell *Doxology “Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow” #95 *Offering Prayer Liturgist

A Service of Word and Table #12-14 Giving of the Bread and Cup Our communion songs are meditative in nature. The organ will play lightly in the background and it is encour-aged for you to hum along or sing the words quietly by memory in a way that might make this a meaningful time for you to be in communion with God.

Sent to Serve

*Closing Hymn “This is My Song” #437 *Dismissal with Blessing Rev. Fred Mast

Please continue in prayer this week: Brenda Strom, Harry Hirsh, Lynn Frank, Alice Stephenson, Rich Batka, John Timmer, Jack Dempsey and Stephanie Dempsey.
