The Summer festival has been organised by For Droitwich Spa, the Droitwich Arts Network and Patrick Davis, with help from Wychavon District Council, Waitrose, Worcestershire and many others (see also last page).
The summer Music and Arts festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is becoming stronger each year and has attracted the BBC on 22nd June. Building on recent summer events, the festival now includes the first major food & drink event to be held in Droitwich Spa.

Pirate trips to find Treasure Island!
Pirates will be manning the Pamela May taking passengers from the mooring in Vines Park to Netherwich Basin, to find treasure. On the island we hope to find a treasure box complete with 'pieces of eight'. Pirate stories and music on board. £3 per person. 11:00—15:30, 22 & 29 June, 6 & 13 July

Droitwich Arts Network presents a free literary day featuring an eclectic mix of poetry, performance poetry, short fiction and novel readings, complemented by music from festival artists.
The Droitwich Spa 10th Anniversary Summer Festival and Worcestershire Literary Festival event also includes book signings for local writers and performers.
Live Lit is organised by Sarah James, poet, former journalist and short fiction writer. Her poetry collection Into the Yell (Circaidy Gregory, 2010) won third prize in the International Rubery Book Award.
