TheLegal Assistance Centre, ounded in 1988, is the onlypublic-interest law frm in Namibia. Our work has stood the test o time.

Our services are dierent to what youll fnd at typical law frms. We

concentrate on:

Litigation on human rights matters to strengthen the rule of law

Pro bono assistance for the needy and vulnerable

Education, advocacy & research

We do all this to strengthen a human rights culture and the rule o law in

Namibia, through each o our our units, which ocus on: gender, HIV, land and

livelihood, and litigation.

Although the services we oer are dierent, we still uphold the

proessionalism and ethics that Namibia expects o all its law frms. Our

lawyers are admitted in the High Court o Namibia and are members o the

Law Society o Namibia.
