EXHIBITION OF RESEARCH ACADEMIC PROJECTS &

We will include a Poster Session for academic works in the next 6th. Seed Congress of the Americas.

Information provided by individuals or teams from universities, national institutes and companies will be presented in a poster session. We invite you to participate sending your summary to posters@saaseed.org

The Comittee will do a selection of works to be part of this important event.

The topics included are:

You are recommended to condense the theme of your poster so that the observer may grasp its ideas including the goals, methods, results and conclusion within a few minutes. Use letters large enough to be read at a distance of 1 meter.

In order to present a poster at the forum you need to be registered. Please note that there is limited space available and poster space is assigned on a first come first served basis (subject to checks and successful registration).

HOW TO PRESENT THE RESUME

To participate please send a resume to posters@saaseed.org titled:

Proposal for the Poster Session - SAA Congress 2017

1. Only place information that is absolutely essential. Focus on the main points.

2. Abstracts should be written in Spanish and English

3. The abstract (s) will be delivered in Microsoft Office Word format via email to the address posters@saaseed.org

4. The deadline for submitting the abstract is August 15th, 2017.

5. Page design: A4 size (21.0 cm x 27.9 cm), top and bottom margin 2.5 cm; Left and right margin of 3cm. Arial font, size 11, with 1.5 line

6. The title should be written in capital letters, size 12, bold.

7. The name (s) of the author (s) must follow immediately the title and written in bold, in capital letters only the initial letter according to the model. The presenter of the paper will be part of the list of authors and their name should be underlined.The surname will be written _in extenso_ but the first name (s) will be abbreviated.

8. The data relating to the name (s) of the author (s), Postal Code, City, State, Province, and / or e-mail (s) of the author (s) will be written clearly and completely, Of the name of the Author (s) and identified with a reference number.

9. The body of the abstract shall contain per language, not more than 300 (three hundred) words without including the title, author (s) name (s) and key-words.

10. The abstract should refer to an original work and clearly and objectively include its justification, objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions.

11. Abstracts containing figures, tables or graphs will be accepted.

12. The summary (s) that do not conform to the established norms will be excluded from the Congress and the notified author so that ina timely manner it can adjust to the established norms.

PREPARING THE POSTER

Layout: Titles and list of authors should be included in the poster. The contents should be structured under the headings of Objectives,

Methods, Results and Conclusion.

Content of the poster: must contain the following sequence; title; Postal address; e-mail; introduction; materials and methods; Results and

conclusion and bibliographical references.

Size: Your poster should be designed to be placed on a poster board. The poster should be no larger than 130 cm (H) and 90cm (W)

[4.26ft (H) x 2.95ft (W)]

Text: The text should be concise. In order to ensure good visibility at approximately 3 feet, the print size in the body of the text must be no

smaller than 20 points font.

Tables: Tables should be simple and easy to follow.

Illustrations: The legend should appear below the figure.

Permission: Please ensure that you have permission to use any images you include in the poster. This includes a license for copyrighted

materials and release forms from people who are recognizable in photographs or images. Photographs should preferably be in colour and

with high print quality and should include subtitle at the bottom of them.

References: Please include not more than eight most pertinent references.

Interest: Financial interest, if any, must be disclosed and included on the poster. Presentation made in the congress must not be used to

promote a commercial product.

Accountability: A poster presenter shall ensure that the poster is mounted and dismounted in the assigned time of display. The congress

not be responsible for any lost or damage to the poster and other related materials.

The Congress Secretariat will dispose of all posters that have not been dismounted after the designated presentation time.
