• Common Ground: a basis agreed to by all parties for reaching a mutual understanding

– This is important to know because these people had to find some common ground to get along in the community.

• Seed: idea; thought

– This is important to know because each person planted a “seed” in order to find some common ground.

An my auntie own a community center, and she plant seeds around her community. only (2) people that helped plant seeds in the community. My Grandma Bettie planted all kinds of seeds in the community around our neighborhood. My Auntie Anita and I helped clean up and pick up the trash around the community. Sometimes people would volunteer to come help pick up the trash around the neighborhood.
