outside the Tsar’s Winter Palace in St. Petersburg
They asked for Nicholas II to appear so he could be presented with a petition

Russia also loses the Russo-Japanese War in 1905 Fought over Russian and

Under pressure, Nicholas II allows a Constitution to be written in 1905
