A Safer Way for Both Caregiver and Client
The 800 delivers innovation, affordability and quality. Ceiling lifts
dramatically reduce injuries resulting from the handling of clients in both
institutional and homecare settings. The 800 has been designed with a full
set of standard features and can be safely operated by a single caregiver. A
complete lift, position and transfer system, the 800 eliminates the need for
costly task specific floor lifts. In multicare settings, the 800 provides a
smooth and effortless transfer, which safely enhances the current working
conditions of caregivers. At the press of a button, the 800 will lift up to a
maximum of 800 lbs. (364 kg) allowing flexibility in the type of clients that
can be transferred. For additional flexibility, powered traversing can be
included.
• Heavy duty capacity system with single lifting motor, allows for the lifting,
transferring and positioning of virtually every client.
• Manual or power traversing models available. Two, four, or six way
functions allow for a variety of transfer and repositioning options.
• Utilizing the quick-fit scale option, clients can be weighed during a
transfer, thereby eliminating unnecessary additional steps and the need
for multiple scales.
• The pneumatic hand control is easy-to-use and lightweight. The hand
control is not sensitive to moist and humid environments. The airline can
be easily modified to suit users needs.
• An industry first, the patented Transcord feature allows for effortless
manual raising and lowering in the absence of power.
• The slack strap sensor ensures the lift strap will not continue to unwind in
the event that the client is not placed securely on the transfer surface.
This ensures client safety, and enhances employee confidence.
• An over-speed governor, built-in safety stops, and emergency lowering
are just some of the features that are standard on the Transactive Plus.

too high, the lifter will stop, and you will have to wait until the temperature goes down.
• The lifter has a sensor which will stop the lifter if the lifting belt is not tight, to avoid it curling up.
• The electrical system registers the lifters operating time, and gives a signal when service is
required.
• The battery lamp will illuminate when the lifter needs charging, and an audible signal will sound.
• The lifter features emergency stop and emergency lowering.

Henry’s
Henry is a Spinal Injury patient who is able to drive his own car in order to get to work each morning but he relied on the help of a carer to be hoisted out of bed and be showered before he could go to work.
Due to his carers arriving anytime between 7am to 11am he was regularly late for work.
He purchased a 450T fixed ceiling hoist with power traverse. Now, in the mornings he can fit his own sling and transfer himself into a self propelled shower chair and proceed to the bathroom. He then transfers himself back to his bed where he dries and dresses himself then transfers to his wheelchair on the other side of the bed. He is then able to move to his car and go to work without having to wait for the help of a carer.

Nathaniel’s
Nathaniel has a disability and had never been able to walk until his family moved into their new home that was fitted out with 65 metres of Ceiling Hoist tracking.
Now, using his new Ceiling Hoist and walking sling, he is able to greet visitors at the front door of his home. The tracking extends throughout almost the entire home including access to the garage (car), kitchen, bedroom/ensuite, brothers bedroom, lounge room and pool area.
Having a Ceiling Hoist installed into the home has given Nathaniel the independence his parents always wanted him to have.

Helen is a Care Manager who had a problem keeping staff. She identified 3 major points in having good working conditions in her aged care facility, was the number one major implementation to help her staff.
Helen’s staff now effortlessly lift and transfer persons up to 185kg in their general days caring . A study was also conducted to show the saving on injury Compensation Claims related to lifting and moving patients.
100% of the aged care facility rooms have a 3mtr straight track above the beds.
The staff are delighted that they now have a lifting system to help them. Work Place Health and Safety officer on site says “ its no longer an issue when we have larger patients come to the facility”.

Helen’s Story
Renaldo has 1 ward, 24 beds (2 x 4bed bariatric rooms , 20 single bed rooms) 1x Gym with 6 physio plinths and 1x bariatric bed. We came up with a plan to overcome Renaldo’s patient lifting concerns.
We installed in each of the 20 single bed rooms a 3meter straight recessed track, 2 Nomad’s (SWL 230kg) shared between the 20 single rooms. The 2x 4bed bariatric rooms have room cover H-system with BariTurn lifting motors (SWL 450kg), in the gym we installed a H-system over the bed with a transition gate connecting 90 degree bend to a straight track over the 6 physio plinths.
With this Ceiling Hoist solution Renaldo is able to provide his care staff a safe and effortless patient lifting system to cater for patients up to 450Kg.

A stationary lifting solution, consisting of a lift unit mounted either on a
ceiling rail system or on a freestanding rail system, is an ergonomically
ideal alternative that eliminates manual lifting and allows the caregiver
to always choose the optimal working stance. Furthermore, the lift
system is always in place, it takes up minimal floor space and it is very
easy to maneuver. Another advantage is that the system gives you a
large lifting area and the possibility of both low and very high lifting.
Obstacles that are overcome by choosing a Ceiling Hoist • Thick Carpet
