the new Pe-Xa pipe for the self attaching system consists of a Pe-Xa pipe with oxygen diffusion tight eval layer. Uponor has more than 40 years of experience with the pipe material Pe-Xa and thus offers to-gether with the new self attaching panels a high quality solution.

With its self attaching system, Uponor offers installers an innovating pipe laying system for underfloor heating and cooling pipes. At the factory, hook fasting tape is wound around the oxygen diffusion tight pipes. the system insulation panel is completely covered with the matching laminated loop foil. the pipe can be reeled off and laid on the floor.

Uponor offers with the MlCP red self attaching composite pipe an-other alternative for underfloor heating application for easy and fast installation. It combines the advan-tages of modern composite pipes with an aluminium metal and a plas-tic layer for highest flexibility when laying the pipes. the flexible self at-taching pipe can be easily bent by hand and installed.

that is how underfloor heating can easily be laid – the factory wrapped Uponor self attaching pipes made of Pe-Xa or MlC can be fixed on the foil by easily pushing the pipe onto the foil. the system ensures highest retention force.

A hook fastening tape is wound around the MlCP or Pe-Xa pipes for the use as Uponor self attaching system. Parallel the insulating pan-els are completely covered with a matching laminated loop foil. that ensures a fast and easy pipe laying. the pipes will be reeled off and pushed onto the foil. the fastening tape on the pipes will be interlocked with the foil of the panels and fas-tens the pipes. the self attaching tape and self attaching panels are ideally adjusted for optimized and highest retention force. However the installed pipes can be reposi-tioned in case of changes of the distances when laying the pipes. Just disconnect the pipe and fix it again on the panel.

Made for easy handlingthe self attaching system offers many practical advantages installers will like. to ease the pipe laying patterns have been printed on the foils which ensure exact pipe distances. All components are compatible to manifolds, controls of the Uponor heating and cooling portfolio. Important is when connecting to manifolds to peel off the hook fasting tape around the pipe.
