A Letter From My Heart My month of August has really been filled with a lot of time helping Blake run the Minnetonka Yacht Club sailing races on the Lake. I’ve been on the schedule on Wednesday evenings, all day Saturday with separate fleets in the morning and afternoon races, and on Sunday mornings. I love helping Blake out on the lake in the MYC Signal Boat and doing my jobs. There really is a lot to do, and we, and 3 other staff members have it down to a system that works very well for us and for the sailors. We just finished running the Burton Cup/MS Cup races with the combined MYC Burton Cup races and Corn Roast dinner plus the MS Cup Races and Silent Auction. Blake’s goal: This was Blake’s 8/26 entry on Facebook. “By my rough calculations, if I can raise another $2736.50 for the MS Cup, my "lifetime" contribution total for the National MS Society since my '03 diagnosis and start of fundraising in 2004 will be $200,000! Anyone want to help me get there?. It’s not too late to throw in your 2¢.” http://mscup.org/ MSCup/Home.html Huge thanks to Maura Ellen and Sarah Orum for organizing and running the MS Cup Silent Auction; to Karen Listgarten for acting as our band liaison this afternoon, and helping get the facilities set up; to pro photographer Jh Peterson for taking over 1000 photos of the fleets during the race; to Meredith Fierke and her awesome band Furia for the fantastic live music; and to dozens of other volunteers, donors and contributors for making the MS Cup a giant success. I'm completely wiped, but still smiling! ;) We also ran the Champion of Champions Races on Wednesday evening 8/22. I was delighted to see Blake and his crew WIN the regatta in the 420 boat even though he hadn’t sailed in the past year, and his crew was totally new to him. Each skipper represented a champion of a fleet in the MYC and WYC fleets, and Blake represented the Race Committee. I’ve continued to take the 13 week Financial Peace course, have one more real estate closing in August, and have some new buyers I’m excited to help. I hope you all have been enjoying your summer in spite of the unusual weather, humidity, and tempera- tures. Here’s to a lovely, colorful cooler September. A Letter From My Heart

My month of August has really been filled with a lot of time helping Blake run the Minnetonka Yacht

Club sailing races on the Lake. I’ve been on the schedule on Wednesday evenings, all day Saturday with

separate fleets in the morning and afternoon races, and on Sunday mornings. I love helping Blake out on

the lake in the MYC Signal Boat and doing my jobs. There really is a lot to do, and we, and 3 other staff

members have it down to a system that works very well for us and for the sailors.

We just finished running the Burton Cup/MS Cup races with the combined MYC Burton Cup races and

Corn Roast dinner plus the MS Cup Races and Silent Auction.

Blake’s goal: This was Blake’s 8/26 entry on Facebook.

“By my rough calculations, if I can raise another $2736.50 for the MS Cup, my "lifetime" contribution

total for the National MS Society since my '03 diagnosis and start of fundraising in 2004 will be

$200,000! Anyone want to help me get there?. It’s not too late to throw in your 2¢.” http://mscup.org/

Early Signs Of Diabetes

People with type 2 diabetes often do not have any symptoms. When symptoms do occur, they are often ignored be-cause they may not seem serious. Take a look at yourself and your loved ones for these common symptoms of diabetes, keeping in mind that type 2 diabetes develops slowly over many years, and may present only one or two symptoms initially:

Fatigue.

Nausea, perhaps vomiting.

Blurred vision.

In women, frequent vaginal infections.

In men and women, yeast infections.

Dry mouth.

Unusual weight loss or gain. Note that obesity contributes to diabetes. This link is not clearly understood, but the link does clearly, irrefutably exist.

Excessive thirst – this can happen because the kidneys draw more water from your blood system, causing an in-crease in urination and corresponding increase in thirst.

Increased urination (sometimes as often as every hour).

Slow-healing sores or cuts.

Unusual itching in the extremities, especially the feet.

Keller Williams Realty Ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Home Buyer and Seller Segments" by

J.D. Power and Associates

AUSTIN, TEXAS (August 16, 2012) — According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Home Buyer/Seller Satisfaction Study

SM released yesterday, Keller Williams Realty, Inc. ranks

highest in customer satisfaction in both the homebuyer and home seller segments. Keller Wil-liams Realty, Inc. achieved the highest scores in all measured factors across both segments, receiving the highest JDPower.com Power Circle Rating

SM among its competitors overall.

“We are so proud to have our associates be recognized once again for leading the industry with the influence and reputations they have in their local communities. They continually demonstrate not only their level of talent, but their commitment to serving our communities with the utmost integrity and highest level of service," Mark Willis, CEO of Keller Williams Realty, Inc., stated. “Congratulations to all Keller Williams Realty associates. They have certainly earned this prestigious distinction."

The fifth annual J.D. Power and Associates study measures customer satisfaction with the largest national real estate companies within the home buyer and seller segments. Scores are determined by examining three factors of the home-buying experience: agent/salesperson; of-fice; and variety of additional services. For the home-selling segment, agent/salesperson; mar-keting; office; and variety of additional services are examined.

J.D. Power and Associates stated, “[The uncertain economic times] present a challenge for the real estate companies to really work closely with the customers and really hold their hand through the entire process to make them feel more comfortable in the decisions. Keller Wil-liams has set itself apart by performing high in all the areas that are most important to custom-ers specifically with the agent, the offices, and the services that they provide."

“Our agents go above and beyond to help their clients at one of the most personal times in their lives – when they are buying or selling a home. We are incredibly honored and humbled that our associates have been recognized yet again for their incredible levels of service," says Mary Tennant, President of Keller Williams Realty, Inc.
