The KOP region, established in 2004 spearheaded by Konya Teknokent / Selçuk Technology Transfer Office, with the goal of developing valuable products to possess advanced technology and the development of the relationship between university-industry, idea, innovation, and to contribute to the Ar-Ge Ecosystem, and Selçuk Technology Transfer Office has become the " Ar-Ge and Innovation Base".
The Advanced Technology Research and Application Center (İLTEK), supported by the Ministry of Development was completed in 2015 with the "Selçuk University, Ar-Ge Center Infrastructure Establishment " project. Its goal is to conduct work towards university-industry Ar-Ge within a multidisciplinary frame and work in accordance with strategically prioritized international criteria.
İLTEK is in preparation towards the strategy document of Ar-Ge; Selçuk University Research-Development Strategy Document, Vision 2023 aims, EU partnerships in the frame of Nanofuture Strategic Road Map and Grafen Flugship with Selçuk University's "Nanotechnology Researches" and "Device Physics and Semi-conductive Technologies".

At the center, experimental work and studies are conducted towards medicinal, dentistry, veterinary, agricultural development, and related faculties and their respective fields.
At the same time, empirical research related with cancer, diabetes, medicine, and food are performed at the center, and the effects of medicines on animals are examined. For these studies to be conducted safely, laboratories and in vivo test materials are available at the center under the guidance of our experienced personnel.
Selçuk University Experimental Medicine Application Center, the Animal Experimentation Local Ethics Council is located within the body of the center. For the experimental studies, test subjects such as rabbits and mice are bred in experimental animal breeding areas on campus. Besides, the center has IVC and metabolic cage section, post-operative care rooms, basic entrance room, reanimation, 3 operating rooms, 3 training and application laboratories, 1 classroom and 1 meeting room. In the laboratories, there are cooling centrefuges, double-door autoclave, water purification device, -80 C0, -45C0, -20 C0, and 4 C0 closets, operation microscopes, anesthetic and basic laboratory devices.

With the objective of raising individuals prepared for the industry, SERATEM is shaping all of its broadcast policies and successful services within conjunction of this goal. Providing both applicational and theoretical studies to over 100 students, 55 of whom are part time, it provides them with the opportunity to benefit a project, a programme or a film. Continuing as an applicational unit, the University Television, Radio University and Ajans Üntv in 2008, united under the single name of SERATEM. Having no difference from institutional standards, University Television and Radio University provides its viewers and listeners with 24-hour continous broadcasting. To develop quality and productivity within the industry, Ajans Üntv; with the use of new technologies continues their service with productions such as; advertisements, spot films, documentaries, voice acting, catalogues, posters and photography.
The technical infrastructure has allowed us to raise qualified personnel with practical Vocational training and many of our friends have successfully found proffessions in many forthcoming Turkish media outlets, films, and TV series' and acting roles.

Our Continous Education Center, with Selcuk University’s academic members’ support encompasses many educational and certification activities.
These educational activities of the center are developed openly towards all university students, institutional and private industry personnel, who wish to renew and pay attention to specific education fields in a documented manner.
In 2016, 65 courses and certificate programs were given by the center in accordance with the regional population's educational needs by the Continous Education Center. Currently, Family Consultance Training, YDS (Foreign Languages Examination) V-Ray training, artificial fertilization courses, AR-GE Project preparation, Solidworks, Exterior Commerce expert training, and 25 different fields are conducted by the Continous Education Center.
In addition to trainings on basic education areas such as Center, Mediation, Health Communication, Vocational Qualification Trainings, the activities of preparing and supervising questions within the framework of the protocol made with the Ministry of National Education are also continuing.

The goal of the center is to provide sychronized or unsyncronized education with the Computing and Operational Skillsuter technologies. In synchronized lessons, students and teachers communicate live via computer. In unsyncronized however, all text and visual sources for the lecture are uploaded to the system and students can follow and finish the lecture, whenever they want. The center continues to provide:

The center is founded under the coordinatorship of Selçuk University-UNESCO Uni Twin Marine Archeology Network. The most prestigious 25 World universities are the members of this UNESCO institution, and the administration office is located in Antalya-Kemer. Selçuk University Marine Research and Application Center and İstanbul Shores Culture Ministry are conducting underwater archeological excavations. To summarize, these works are “Antalya and Mersin Provinces Archeology Marine Research”, “Silifke Dana Island shore and marine archeological works”, “ Kember Idyros Ancient City Works” by Antalya Museum Administration, “Antalya Adrasan 12th Centry Plate Sinking Excavation” by Antalya Museum and 9 Eylül University, and “Istanbul Küçükçekmece Bathonea Excavations” and “Istanbul European half shores sonar research” by Kocaeli Univeristy.
Our country's first Turkish flagged archeology ship, Selçuk 1 Scientific Research and Inspection Ship is in use on Mediterranean shores for advanced seafloor scientific studies. At the same time, the center supports the application part of the studies in Archeology Department's Underwater Archeology MA programs’. The center's Marine Archeology field's upper infrastructure is also in use for UNESCO's training in these fields. Countries developing with UNESCO's institutional infrastructures are created with the support of the center. Within the scientific studies conducted on the Mediterranean coasts by the center, UNESO's UniTwin Network, ICOMOS International Marine Culture Heritage Committee or Erasmus network undergraduate students are also assigned.

This facility that can accommodate up to 600 people, offers a lunch service of 6 different dishes of hot meals (different everyday) to all the academic and administrative staff on weekdays between 12:00 - 13:00 with the system of a la carte. You can find (including types of fish) all types of barbeque dishes, bakery products and salads. The staff members are provided with a 20% discount on activities held on special occasions and wedding organizations.
KEYKUBAT PALACE
The facility is located within the borders of the village of Apa in Çumra, Konya. There are 6 apartment flats in the facility. The garden has picnic tables with covered shelters making it the perfect setting for the staff and students to have a picnic. Our staff members are charged 2.00 TL and non-staff members from other governmental and corporate organizations are charged 4.00 TL per person.

Most of Selçuk University’s events are held in Süleyman Demirel Cultural Convention Center located in Alaeddin Keykubat Campus. By paying a certain fee, it is also allocated and chartered for scientific, social and cultural activities for private and official people and institutions. With its spotlights, sound system and equipment the stage is appropriate for any kind of program to be held in. The Ağustos auditorium has the capacity of holding 870 people and has a stage setting appropriate for conferences, panels, open sessions, slide shows and so on. The center also has Malazgirt Hall with the capacity of holding 396 people and conference and exhibition rooms used for photography, picture as well as a cafeteria serving 100 people and changing rooms.

Our Hobby Gardens, located 100 meters away from Afyonkarahisar - Konya highway in the north of the campus, will be built on 40 thousand square meters area. Social habitats and common areas will be created within the hobby gardens, each 200 square meters in size. Hobby gardens can be rented to teaching staff for 3 years. The garden is designed as a living space where our lecturers can spend time with their families; they can engage with nature, grow any kind of plant they want, and enjoy the natural life in fresh air. The Tourism Faculty Administration Hotel serves to build services for the future of the service industry and to provide continuous value added for our students and guests with our innovative services. Within the campus, the Tourism Faculty Administration Hotel, which has a total of 42 rooms including 5 suites and 4 triples, which is especially accessible to the Faculty of Medicine Hospital, provides a room & breakfast accommodation to other individuals or organizations besides university and public personnel.
Production activities are being carried out in the Vocatioanl Academy of Technical Sciences, which directly contributes to our students. These programs include; Printing and Publishing Technologies Program, Printing House Workshop, Furniture and Decoration Program and Electrics Program Workshop. The workshops mentioned above are the determinants of quality definition and standards in the sector with reference to their work and production. Our workshops in the field of Technical Sciences Vocational Academy, provide direct economic contribution to our country, our university and our school budget.
İhsan Doğramacı Applied Kindergarten provides the proper education to prepare 0-6 year old children for life with TS EN ISO9001:2008 Total Quality Management standards. It provides high quality education to nearly 632 domestic and foreign undergraduate students and more than 100 doctoral and specialist students. Our Dentistry Faculty, which started education and training in 1988, has given its first graduates in 1993 and has raised thousands of dentists for our country. The Faculty of Communication, which gives importance to Public Relations, Journalism, Radio-Television and Cinema, Advertising departments and the theoretical education appropriate to the needs of the sector as well as the application studies. It also provides information about University Television (UNTV) and Radio University students with its 24 hour uninterrupted broadcast, enhances their skills and equipment, and improves the information in the fields such as camera use, digital editing, voice recording, news reporting, program making, and compering.
In the faculty, there are also basic application units such as Advertisement Workshop, Selçuk İletişim Newspaper and Kısa-ca Film Workshop (Short Film Workshop). In the Advertisement Workshop, modern advertising and public relations campaigns are prepared in all processes. In Selçuk İletişim Newspaper, our students have the opportunity to experience all the processes of journalism such as making and publishing news, and designing newspapers. At the Short Film Workshop, the scripts written by students are turned into films. The students themselves film and edit their films with professional cameras, and these practices are carried out under the supervision of expert lecturers.

Selçuk University, Faculty of Pharmacy has set off on a journey with the main aim of forming a Centre of Excellence in Medicine (found in some developed countries) that has the competence and ability to carry out studies on drug design and activitiy. The mission of this journey is to train pharmacists that produce knowledge contributory to the community health in accordance with scientific and technological aims, adapt to the novelties of the world of science adhere to ethical values, has high sense of institutional belonging, is adhere to vocational training, is able to take responsibility for active duty in every stage of drug investigation and development.
The Faculty of Pharmacy enrolled its first group of students in the academic year of 2017-2018 and, as of now, provides an education with 3 departments, an academic staff of 12 and a total of 62 students.

Nearly two hundred graduates from our conservatory have been working in various places of Turkey, in the field of music and performing arts as artists. Turkish Art Music is the main branch in the Traditional Turkish Music Department and offers courses to the students. The Turkish Folk Music and the Turkish Folk Dance Departments were opened in 2006 and after having completed the necessary preparations, education and training will also start in these departments in the following years. Recently, in the Department of Performing Arts, education and training is being carried out in the Theater and the Opera Dance (Singing Art Dali) Sub-Departments.

Preparation classes in four different languages such as English, German, French and Russian are provided in our school. Selçuk University Çurma Academy of Applicational Sciences was established based on the 09/12/2011 dated, 18597 numbered official writing of the Council of Ministry, then with the 09/26/2011 dated, 2011/2276 numbered decision was published in the 28094 numbered issue of the Official Gazette of TR. Within the scope of the academy, the establishment of the departments of Accounting Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Management of Organic Agriculture and Food Technology was approved by the Council of Higher Education on 04/24/2013. Thus, the academy began its educational activities and enrolled its first group of students in the department of Management of Organic Agriculture. The educational activities are maintained with an academic staff of 8 and an administrative staff of 5 people. The main vision of the academy is to be an academy that is preferred in national and international fields for its original scientific and technological research, innovative quality education and to be ever-growing.

The school raises qualified intermediate staff needed in various units of the Ministry of Justice. Forensic, Administrative and other judicial organs are in need of well trained and qualified intermediate staff. In addition to these, graduates of the Vocational Academy of Justice has the right to complete their Bachelor's degree after having gained access to the law faculties by taking the external transfer examination.
