‘Selvon’ has in house R&D division to cater new and customised requirement as per user specifications. SELVON has installed more than 50000 units with different telecom operators after designing a new product PMU/SPS as per their required specifications. SERVO VOLTAGE STABILIZER OPERATION

The control circuit continuously monitors the output voltage and looks for any error in the output. Any deviation in the output is immediately corrected by switching on the Servomotor.

The motor coupled to the variable auto transformer increases / decreases the voltage to primary of buck / boost transformer. The buck / boost transformer adds / substracts the voltage to mains so that the output remains within the set limits.


SINGLE PHASE


This employs a single control circuit.

The three variacs are mechanically

coupled driven by a single motor.

Sensing is done phase to phase and

the correction is done accordingly.

This is suitable for use with balanced

supply and balanced load. Sone

unbalance in load / supply can be

tolerated but at a loss of accuracy in

the output voltage.


THREE PHASE (BALANCED TYPE)


This type of stabilizer is more versatile and

is the most commonly used type, for use

with three phase / single phase machines /

loads. The basically consists of 3 single

phase units of 1/3 capacity each, connected

in ‘STAR’. In this type, the output voltage on

all three phases are balanced even if the

input voltage and the loads connected on

the three phases are entirely different

(unbalanced). This uses three motors along

with three variacs and three solid state

control circuits.

"True Online" Double Conversion UPS System with IGBT's at Inverter stage,

CARBON BUSHES

The Roller brush technology gives high reliability due toless wear & tear, as the surface area in contact keeps onchanging during the stabilisation process. The rollercontact is fitted with spring tension behind to keep theroller intact with coil for trouble free operation. There areself lubricating roller assemblies with a life span of appx. 1lac track meters.

Linear Voltage regulators employ vertical windings with carbon Rollerson both sides of the coil. Linear technology employs heavy section ofelectrolytic grade rectangular Copper Strip, in order to minimize theloses. The core is built from grain oriented silicon steel laminations tokeep the loses to the minimum. This is suitable for 100% continuousduty & have the capability to adhere to heavy inrush starting loads.

Switching of electrical equipments in Industrial & Commercial area generates spikes upto 10000 Volts & High frequency Noises, thus disturbing the sine-wave output.

The spikes can cause the failure of thyristors, Micro-processors, or other sensitive electronic devices.

The high frequency noises can interfere with Digital-Electronic equipment causing data corruption, erratic behaviour, loss of memory etc.

Isolation/Ultra Isolation Transformers eliminates such noises & attenuates the spikes to minimal values, providing complete protection against such electrical disturbances. It consists of a double wound transformer with extremely low coupling capacitance to isolate the voltage spikes and reduce noise form main with extremely high installation resistance.


Special Features:

• Symmetrical characteristics allow noise attenuation form both sides.

• No impedance matching required.

• No need for extra filter circuits.

• Can be used where different grouping potential exists or the grouping of the equipment cannot be earthed.
