Note: Please bring “PSG Design Data Handbook - Latest Version” in the 1st lecture (available at all leading Book stalls). There won’t be any other batch apart from this (i.e. there

won’t be any Regular or Crash Batch for MD - 1). College re-opens on 8th Jan’18, Term ends on 21st Apr’18 and Exam starts on 8th May’18.

The lecture content of VCR Batch has been thoughtfully designed by Irfan sir, so that the lectures does not become heavy for the student (as none of the lectures will be

of more than 4 to 4.5 hrs) and at the same time the subject gets comfortably prepared, giving sufficient time for Revision and Doubt solving. No need to come for any uncertain / unplanned lectures before or during UT or during Term End or VIVA period. So no wastage of your precious time.

All varieties of Concepts and Design based questions would be taken in the class. Full set (Theory Notes + Diagram set + SP set + Concept booklet + Q. Set) of Revised & Updated notes for May’18 Exam would be provided. There won’t be any change in the timetable. The timetable has been designed so that, none of the Sem - VI batches would ever clash with each other. No other class completes the huge syllabus of MD-1 on time. Many of them don’t even have a proper plan for it. It is recommended that, you do a bit of research before you join any class. This batch has a track record of maximum number of students scoring 20/20 in both their UT’s and helping them score exceptionally well in their End Sem Exam and builds a strong base for MD-2 (Sem - VII) and DMS (Sem - VIII).

Record Marks scored by our students in MDI: Siddharth Sanjay Bhat (95/100, D J Sanghvi - May’16) │ Abdul Moiz (93/100, M.H.S.S - May’17) │ Adnan Tinwala (92/100, M.H.S.S - May’16) │ Amin B Sayyed (90/100, Bharat College - May’16) │ Arshad Shaikh (90/100, M.H.S.S - May’15).

Last year, 25% of our students scored more than 18/20 in their UT. More than 40% of the students scored Grade - 10/10. All our students cleared the paper. On an average, 3 out of top 5 students of every college were from our batch.

Address: Room - 112, 1st floor, Pearl centre, Above Sadguru’s, Opp. Vidyalankar’s office, S. B. Marg (Tulsi Pipe road), Dadar (w).

Once out of Rly. Station (west side); take immediate right, 5 mins walking distance. Pg - 3

Note: Please bring Steam Table (by R. S. Khurmi), 4 different colour gel pens & highlighters in the 1st lecture. T.F.P.E. paper usually would be 85% to 90% (Numerical + Derivation

based) & 10% to 15% (Theory based). It is the next subject in the series of Thermal and Fluid sciences (after Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer & I. C. Engine). Concepts developed here would be used to understand Mechanical Utility systems (also known as T.F.P.E-2) in Sem - VII and Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning in Sem - VIII.

Full set of Simplified, Refined and Updated Notes (for May’18 Exam) would be provided during the lectures along with the Solved Problem set. Highest Quality Study material has been prepared by referring to more than 15 Standard Books on the subject and selecting all Typical Numericals from the last 44 University papers, up to the recent paper of Nov’17.

All the concepts required from Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics would be revised first and then the new concepts of T.F.P.E. would be explained, so that understanding the subject becomes easy and automatic. There would be 15 mins of Personal Doubt Solving Session at the end of every lecture. Optimum utilisation of Audio/Visual would be made throughout the Crash Course to enhance the level of understanding. All the concepts related to Velocity triangles will be explained in detail. Around 50 marks syllabus of TFPE and 60% syllabus of MUS (Sem - VII) are based on it.

Crash Course has been efficiently designed by Irfan sir so that any type of student can attempt at least 95% of the paper with ease. It has been designed not only to help

the student clear the paper but also to top his/her respective college and excel in all the competitive examinations like GATE, IES, UPSC, Engineering Olympiads etc along

with confidently facing Technical Interviews at the time of placement. Over the years, 90% of the times, University Toppers had been from Irfan sir’s T.F.P.E. Batch.

Outstanding Marks scored by our last year’s Crash Batch student: Ankita Sheoran - 93/100 (VECT - May’17 Exam).
