Westland Dairy Westland Dairy Company is an example

of a company that has grown rapidly in recent years on the basis of exports to emerging economies which want milk products for food consumption and industrial purposes.

Selwyn is vital as a location because it has land , people and access to an export port and is close to transport to & from the West Coast.
