Blended Courses “BL”1. Similar to college classes - a significant amount of work
completed outside of classroom
2. Expose students to a flexible schedule to help them transition to college or the workplace
3. Organization, communication skills, and self-advocacy are required for these courses.
4. In advance, teachers let students know the days they will report to the classroom (required attendance days) and the days students have the flexibility to work outside the classroom (flex days). Usually averages to about 3-4 days in class with 1-2 days of flex.
