Senior Drive-thru Celebration Plan• In accordance with the current Ohio guidelines for social

distancing, the following plan for a Senior Drive-Thru Celebration will be executed to provide our seniors with a celebration to close out the school year.

• At this time, the Senior Ceremony scheduled for August 3, 2020, at the Cintas Center is still on the calendar. However, with the amount of uncertainty moving forward, Butler Tech is providing this additional celebration should the guidelines not allow for the August ceremony.

Senior Drive-thru Celebration Plan• Each graduate is invited to their respective Butler Tech campus for a drive-thru celebration

during the designated date and time. This will be a rolling event that you may take part in at any time during the time frame.

• Each graduate is invited to attend in their car along with family members/friends. Please no more than 2 cars per graduate. There will not be a staging/parking area on the campuses. Please coordinate your graduate’s entourage prior to driving onto the campus.

• Graduates may choose to wear their cap and gown or not. Dress to impress and show your Butler Tech pride!

• There will be multiple stations along your drive-thru celebration route.• A Student Photo Stop will be included where only the graduate will exit the vehicle for a

picture.

Senior Drive-thru Celebration Safety • All interactions with Butler Tech staff will be socially distanced and wearing personal

protective equipment. All staff will have been through a health screening prior to participation in the event.

• Masks are strongly encouraged for graduates.

• Graduates will only leave their car during the photo stop where a photographer will take a photo from a responsible distance. Photos will be available online for free at a later date. Masks can be removed for the photo.

• The graduate will be the only person to leave the car.• Once the graduate and family has driven through all check points, all cars will leave the

campus. There will be no congregating allowed on campus.

• Please no handshaking, hugs, photos with friends, etc. • Staff and School Resource Officers will help to facilitate the drive-thru celebration and ensure

that all safety protocols are followed.
