Complete preparation of Commercial documents like BOQ, Budget, work break down structure

analysis for projects/tender related to Building MEP, Electrical substations, Pumping stations, Highway street lighting, MV cables laying work etc.

Raising RFI’s for missing documents, design Issues & indicating deviations from authority

regulations.

Alarming QS to upload the Candy BOQ and allocate trade (or) task code to filter the packages

separately.

Guiding Procurement team to prepare packages for nominated MEP sub-contractors & material

Packages for suppliers based on Project vendor list with necessary documents.

Guiding the procurement team to float RFQ‘s for both Sub-contractor & suppliers. Alarming team

to follow up and proceed the quotations on scheduled time.

Guiding QS team to do complete takeoff and I will do the review of actual Quantity vs tender Quantity.

Final Additions (or) Omissions in Quantity list as additional item in tender BOQ.

Review and filtering the supplier’s quotes based on tender documents. If their quotes not

compliance with project requirements, Raising Queries to suppliers to comply specifications?

Preparing Costing sheet in CANDY by allocating resources based on current quotes from suppliers (or)

will follow backup quotes for proper pricing of complete Electrical works.

Allowing discounts for each material based on experience and supplier recommendations.

Allowing Installation cost based on Man hour, Plant, Transportation, Accessories depends on the

Project duration, etc. Some Projects will implement percentage basis also.

Analyze & Implementing Management Overhead and profit with MEP Manager & Bid leader

based on Company Policy, Risk Factors, Engineering cost, Accommodation

Allowance, Transportation, etc.

Preparing Cost comparison Vetting sheet based on In-house pricing & Sub- contractor offers for

complete Electrical works with detailed descriptions including Inclusions, Exclusions, warranty,

Maintenance, sundries, margin, Risk, etc.

Co-ordinate with Mechanical estimators, Civil estimators, Planning Engineers, HSC Engineers, Bid leaders for final Submission comply with Project requirements.

Evaluating Value Engineering depend on project type, client requirements, supplier

recommendations, Experience under Manager Guidance.

Knowledge in design, Shop drawings (CADD), Quantity takeoff (Plan Swift), Estimation (CANDY

& Excel), Technical submittals for managing complete electrical works
