Sweat gland ducts are examples of stratified cuboidal epithelium...usually however there are only two layers of cells.
![Page 18: Senior histology](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022070303/549a3d92b47959fd5d8b4569/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
Stratified Columnar epithelium is rare. One place you can find it is in the largest ducts of salivary glands (parotid, submandibular, etc). The basal layer of cells are cuboidal cells and the layer nearest the apical surface includes columnar cells. The large droplets are mucus, in Goblet cells.
![Page 19: Senior histology](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022070303/549a3d92b47959fd5d8b4569/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
When the tissue is stretched, the cells, especially those on the surface, become flat. This allows organs lined with transitional epithelium to change shape without damaging the epithelial lining.
