Senior Manager Health Economics & Market Access, Neuroscience
Reference Number: 893301-W Type of placement: Permanent Location: Buckinghamshire, UK Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, recommend and implement of EMEA Pricing & Reimbursement strategies for novel neurology products taking into account market dynamics and other factors over the short, medium and long term
Working with the local Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access colleagues, support HTA submissions in key markets and support P&R submissions across EMEA through collaborative matrix working
Act as team lead for selected cross therapeutic projects
Provide structured support to Neurosciences Health Economics & Market Access Director in the development of Commercial Policies for products and in the development and approval of tender strategies across key markets
Support development of Pricing Strategies and participate in key pricing decisions aligned to the use of products in current indications and future neurological/rehabilitation indications
Develop and deliver value tools to implement agreed strategies for Neurological/rehabilitation in key markets
Maximise available health economics data for products in Neurological and Rehabilitation indications and lead the development of appropriate cascade materials and publications
1. Developing expertise
Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge concerning the scientific data that underpins the clinical benefits of our client’s product range and comparator treatments for Neurological and Rehabilitation indications
Develop a reference knowledge of related health economic and clinical literature, seek to understand changing customer requirements and the implications of these to support market access throughout the lifecycle in key markets
Maintain and deepen a sound understanding of relevant pricing and reimbursement criteria and the likely payer perception of the product value proposition in Neurological and Rehabilitation indications in key markets.
Develop a good understanding of the potential marketplace for our client’s products in future indications in accordance with the clinical development programme

Provide appropriate input to global development plans to ensure that EU HTA
requirements can be met by the programmes designed
2. Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access team and with regional counterparts
Ensure all activity is aligned with the broader Health Economics & Market Access strategy across EMEA through integrated working with the Neurosciences Health Economics & Market Access Director
Spend time in key markets understanding the unique reimbursement dynamics associated with our client’s products in Neurological and Rehabilitation indications
Work with regional and global marketing colleagues and selected clinical KOLs and payers in strategic advisory activities
Support regional KOL advocacy through provision of health economic and value information via the wider Health Economics & Market Access team
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified to at least Degree level
Professional qualifications in one of the following areas are desirable but not essential: Economics; Health Economics; Health Policy; Healthcare Management etc.
Experienced professional with an excellent understanding of Market Access and/or Pricing and Reimbursement.
Demonstrable success in a related role, having taken projects from concept through to delivery
Strong understanding of Health Economic principles and the ability to assimilate and simplify data and concepts effectively
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders
Matrix leadership skills; the ability to bring groups to consensus and gather input from a wide range of stakeholders
Entrepreneurial, resourceful, tenacious and diplomatic.
High degree of proactive initiative with a sense of urgency and strong commercial awareness.
Flexible and adaptable style with the ability to learn and assimilate information quickly.
