The Trinity Band, under the direction of Tony “D”,

entertained the Seniors at The Auburn Senior Center.

For an hour they played the Big Band Swing music from

the Great American Song Book as well as patrio#c music.

SHINE (Serving the Health Information Needs of

Elders) is a state health insurance assistance

program that provides free health insurance

information, counseling and assistance to

Massachusetts residents with Medicare and

their caregivers.

If you would like an appointment with our SHINE counselor,

Blood Pressure

Clinic

The Blood Pressure Clinic is offered

the first Friday of each month

9:30-10:30am

First come, first served. This service is provided at no charge by

our local Auburn Visiting Nurses and includes checking your

blood pressure, your pulse and weight.

Deadline for Flagtown Flyer submissions due at the Senior

Center newsletter office by the 15th of the previous month. �

Transportation Options

T

he Auburn Van is available for Auburn

residents 60+ and younger disabled.

Those under 60 with a disability will be asked to provide a doctors

note or letter from service agency. To register to use this service,

please call the WRTA at 508-752-9283. Appointments must be

booked two days in advance.

Monday & Friday trips in town for any purpose. Tuesday, Wednesday,

and Thursday trips in town for any purpose, and out of town for medi-

cal appointments.

Additional transportation is available by registering for ADA transpor-

tation with the WRTA. The ADA transportation provides longer service

hours with a slightly higher cost. To register for ADA transportation an

appointment with the WRTA and additional forms are required.
