The Britt Festival Classical Outreach Program and
the Ashland Senior Center are pleased to once
again offer the opportunity to attend a Classical
Concert this summer. On Saturday, August 9th,
we are able to offer a limited number of reserved
seating tickets for a concert with featured violinist
Augustin Hadelich. Mr. Hadelich will perform the
Sibelius Violin Concerto. Bus transportation to and
from the Festival will be provided, with pick-up at
the Senior Center at 6:15 p.m. for the concert which
will start at 8:00 p.m. Arrival time back to the
Senior Center will be approximately 10:30-10:45pm
after the concert concludes. Tickets are offered at
no cost and seating is limited. If interested please
call the Senior Program office at 541-488-5342 to
reserve your spot.

Mark your calendars and join us for an old fashioned Ice Cream Float Social with great music performed by
Jabberwocky in the park outside of the Senior Center. The eight piece band plays a fun loving array of old
time favorites, including Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue, Clarinet Marmalade, and Makin’ Whoopee to name a
few titles. This event is free however tips for the band will be gladly accepted! Sit back, relax and enjoy the
wonderful summer afternoon in the park. Hope to see you there!
