Letters of Recommendation
Students must pick up a counselor recommendation packet from the counseling office Request recommendation letter
through Common App account
The packet must be completedbefore your student can make an appointment with their counselor
Please allow the counselor at least 2 weeks to write the letter No letters will be written over
the Winter Break!
Transcripts
Transcripts should be requested on-line through Parchment at:
www.parchment.com The fee for transcripts is $5
each and is payable on-line by credit card.
When creating Parchment account – Use your 5 digit UHS student ID number
Reminder: UCs and CSUs do not require transcripts at this time, but may send an email to your student requesting specifically for 7th semester grades.

It is imperative for your student to read and check email regularly! Colleges and Universities will send much of their
communication via email. Make sure to check Spam and Junk folders !
