Our goal is to provide you with a stunning one level optical and fashion boutique in the downtown Lincoln area. the proposal
With architecture and fashion being two industries that thrive on innovation I thought it best to mold the intention of this project off the development of creativity. Sketching is the prime beginning of design. The two industries, although sharing this process have evident differences on how each is carried out. Gestural, oraganic, and overall free flowing is a movement from the hand of a textile designer. Architects and interior designers share ideas through use of hard lines, scale, and are overall geometric drawings. This similar yet different technique will be used to brand the space emphasizing hard and soft line qualities.

After a review of my schematic design options, my reviewers and I decided it best to combine the options of one and two resulting in the branding shown above. The qualities of both the horizontal and vertical movements played well with the products being sold. A system was created to hang apparel on the vertical pipes and showcase eyewear along the horizontal. This decision was made in connection to how the product is worn by individuals.

final presentation eyewear & apparel boutique underwent several changes during the final stages of design. The sculptural system of display remained the same but some fine tuning was made. The cash wrap became an integral part of the surrounding rods, fixtures were added, fitting rooms were more defined, and material choices became harmonious with one another.
