The essential tool for EMDR

SENSE TECH™ is designed to assist a practitioner in the treatment of patients using the

established principle of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an

advanced psychological treatment recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to help

people reduce vivid, unwanted, repeated recollections of traumatic events. The American clinical

psychologist, Dr Francine Shapiro, developed EMDR in the 1980s.

unobtrusive and work with complete flexibility and adaptability for the needs of

the patient. SENSE TECH™ is a robust yet lightweight kit that includes: a light bar,

tactile grips, headphones, a controller, a tripod and a carry case.

The SENSE TECH™ equipment allows the practitioner to select suitable stimulation

to best suit their patient and therefore achieve optimal treatment. To achieve this,

the equipment allows control of a synchronised repetition speed and intensity for

all three stimulations; Visual, Audio and Tactile. The equipment is hardwearing,

portable and designed to be used either within a clinician’s room or out in the field

with rechargeable batteries.
