Length does not determine what is and is not a sentence.• Regardless of how long or short a group of words is, it needs two parts to be a sentence: a subject and a predicate.

What are the types of Nouns?

Nouns are either:

Concrete- a noun you can feel, touch, smell, heard, or tasted

village, drumsticks, city, ocean, pizza

OR

Abstract- a thought, feeling, or emotionlove, pride, happiness, beauty

What are the types of Nouns?

Common- refers to any person, place, thing, or idea.

boat, house, book, school, singer

ORProper- a SPECIFIC person place thing or idea. Proper nouns need to be capitalized.

A noun suffix is an ending that tells you it is a noun! Words can change the part of speech to which they belong by the addition of a suffix.
