This may be a common advice to most bloggers but there is no way of emphasizing this other than by asking everyone to be careful on how they choose topics. Research indicates that people who use numbers are likely to get more attention from their audience than those who use plain words. So if you are all about earning $$$ online then what about, “How I earned $800 in one day.” People will just crowd in your blog and scrape for information on how you made yourself so rich. Get a standing ovation using stellar topics.

Make sure your content is interesting. I must have said this a dozen times in other posts, and there’s good reason for it. Content is King. If you think you have a unique idea which no one else has taken advantage of, go for it.

You don’t have to always be “Mister know it all”, but speaking the truth and also speaking what you know is the best way forward.

Looking after your blog

I would advice you use a clean simple theme, which is appealing to the eye. The current theme I use may be quite “heavy” in terms of resources used, but it’s a clean and simple theme which clearly shows every post which is written by me.

As an added feature, there is a green information box at the top of the blog which alerts users of the latest post. This prevents them from searching for it themselves. Don’t let the reader do any work. You need to be able to make sure they can find their way around easily. Think of it like a navigation map. If the map is too complicated, you won’t get to your destination. On the other hand, if its nice and simple, it will be more convenient for the person using it.
