Maya K. van Rossum has served as the Delaware Riverkeeper and leader of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network since 1994.  A veteran environmental activist and attorney, her book, The Green Amendment: Securing our Right to a Healthy Environment, was published in November 2017.

Maya is also the founder of the For the Generations – Green Amendment initiative, which seeks to pursue and secure constitutional protection of environmental rights in states across the nation.
