This is an innovative opportunity for students in Campbellford to learn about philanthropy by implementing a kindness project that connects them to the community.
There is $1,000.00 available per school each school year for community kindness projects.
Students are encouraged to give Time, Talent or Treasure.
The Kindergarten Class at Kent Public School visited the Multicare Lodge just before Christmas to do crafts with the residents, sing to them and recite poems, and enjoy a snack with them. Unfortunately they were unable to continue with the visits during the 2019/2020 School Year.

COVID‐19 Community Response Grant to St. Mary Catholic Elementary School
Report by Amy‐Jo Doherty
Due to the pandemic, the 2020 graduates – Grade 8 and Grade 12 ‐ were going to miss out on their opportunity to celebrate together in the traditional format.
It was felt that it was important for the community to recognize our youth for their achievements.
They reached out to all the schools in Trent Hills and invited them to participate:
• St Mary Catholic Elementary School ‐ Campbellford• Hillcrest Public School ‐ Campbellford• Kent Public School – Campbellford• Campbellford District High School – Campbellford• Percy Public School – Warkworth• Hastings Public School – Hastings
Thank you from a Community Member
Dear Campbellford Seymour Community Foundation,
Our daughter graduated in June from Percy Centennial P.S. As part of her graduation, she received a lawn sign from the school. We have been proudly displaying this sign throughout the summer. I understand that your foundation was a big part of providing these signs for graduating kids in our municipality. Please accept my thanks for this thoughtful gift, for trying to provide something memorable during Covid when other ways of celebrating were not available. I have enjoyed seeing these signs displayed prominently around our municipality. Thanks again for this support of our students.
Sincerely, Karen and Peter Watson
