IGLESIA DE CRISTO

Please pray for Sister Lupita Padilla who is going to Texas to visit her family. Also for our brother Jorge and sister Martha, asking the Lord to strengthen them and to fill them with peace in their hearts after the loss they have suffered. Martha was pregnant and lost the baby.

Some of our members and their children have the flu so we are asking for prayers they will soon recover and be back at worship services.

We are working on brochures that will go on the back tables. These brochures will contain information about our ministry and will be helpful as we continue to spread the gospel in the Hispanic community.

Thank you for you love, care and support... Mainor

YOUTH ACTIVITIES

What a beautiful day God has blessed us with! Be sure to say thank you to Him this morning if you haven’t already. It’s great to be back with you after a few days of vacation. How anyone who has ever seen the wonder and power of the mountains can say there is no God, I’ll never understand. Thank you for your prayers while we were gone! Parents don’t forget to pick up the fall calendars on the youth board on your way in or out this morning. If you’re a teen parent and don’t get the monthly newsletter in your email, please give me your address and I’ll be sure you get it! So far we’re thinking about life through the eyes of the cross, and thinking about how that should cause us to live radically different from the people around us. This week I want us to consider how those two things should make us want to Extend Hope to everyone we’re around! As Christians who see things through the eyes of Jesus, who are living radically different and blessed lives, we should be doing everything in our power to make sure we take as many people with us as we can! Make it your goal this week to start sharing the hope you have within you; and God will truly transform this church and your life!
