Advanced Training – Marketing 101
We are excited to launch a set of new advanced training courses using GoToMeeting.com. GoToMeeting will allow
you to join training sessions remotely via your shop or home computer. Our first course will focus on Marketing 101
which covers marketing strategies and their value to your business. Our goal with these training sessions will be to
help you use your MechanicNet system to its full potential, encouraging you to maximize your marketing efforts.
Create a unified strategy using MechanicNet’s service reminders, website, email blasts, and seasonal promotions.
GoToMeeting.com is easy to use. We’ll provide you with an access number and instructions on how to sign in. The
“seating” for this training is limited to 10 people. To sign up, send an email to [email protected] and

Hurray - the football season has officially begun!!! While football is a very popular sport, make no doubt about
it… it’s also a finely tuned marketing machine. While I watched the games over the weekend, there were beer
commercials for the 20 somethings, life insurance commercials for the new families, and retirement planning
commercials for the baby boomers. The beer commercials were bikini laden and humorous for a sophomoric
appeal. The life insurance commercial showed a kid innocently asking “Dad, what is life insurance?” followed by the
dad educating the son on the purpose. While the retirement commercial simply implied - “You’ve trusted us with
your finances… now let us do your retirement planning too.” Three unique communication strategies – Emotions,
Educational, and Awareness. Next month, MechanicNet will be launching advanced training sessions to help you
maximize our services. The first course is Marketing 101 which highlights these 3 strategies. You too can employ the
