Holderby 2012-2013 Staff
The Holderby Harold Now that you have settled into
Holderby and your new routine here’s a
recap of move-in. This semester there
are approximately 230 residents
living within the hall. Unusually,
the temperature has been quite
mild this August, resulting in
cooler move-in days. Along with a
new school year come new changes in policy
and noticeable changes in the residence hall. Please
remember to show your key to desk
workers & Student Security, they need
to see your purple key sticker. As
the university continues to
expand so do our Wi-Fi services- Holderby is now
completely Wi-Fi accessible! From the new routers in the
ceilings all the way to the flooring and new furniture in
the lobby, Holderby has been upgrading all summer long.
Even though summer has come to a close the fun doesn’t
have to stop, for Marshall Life it’s just begun! This year
all of Holderby staff has exciting programs and events
planned to cater to you! We are excited for this year and
have so much in store, so get ready for a GREAT school
year!

As the year progresses you will meet and get to know all the

and you get to meet your neighbors as well! Also, our new staff this
year has tons of exciting programs planned and they’re all FREE to
you! Plus, if you have cool ideas you’d like for programs, tell
your RA and they’ll see what they can do!
This year the former RHA has upgraded to Hall Council. We will still be holding elections
for the elected offices. Elections start Sept. 3rd and continue through Sept. 5th . In
order to vote you MUST have a student ID and vote at the front desk. Aside from
elected positions, Hall Council needs floor representatives; if you are interested in
becoming a floor representative contact RD Johnny Hurley at [email protected].
