Stress Management

Programme

This programme gives women the opportunity to

share what they consider to be “stress” as it

relates to them and highlights the manifestation

and impact of stress of the physical body.

Participants will focus on their energies and will

gain good tips and coping strategies on how to

handle stress.

This programme will run on a Thursday morning

starting 24th October from

10.30-12.30

In the new year, we are hoping to run an ASIST Programme. This is a two day

skills building workshop in suicide first aid and is delivered by the HSE.

This course would be suitable for caregivers who regularly have contact

with vulnerable individuals/ groups in their work or role in the community. If you

This programme is a practical, holistic, health

improvement programme which introduces women

to the concept of behavioural Medicine and how it

can be applied to their lives. Many topics are

covered including how to recognise the

interdependence between emotional, physical and

mental health and to learn safe ways of

expressing and balancing the emotions through

natural remedies, therapies and techniques. The

programme will also help women to be able to

handle everyday challenges and to enhance the

quality of their lives .

This programme will run on Monday mornings

from 7th October-9th December.

If so the YOUTHREACH programme, through

Donegal Education and Training Board’s Adult

Education Service, offers practical training for young people in a wide

range of skills areas, including catering, childcare,

computers, hairdressing, health related fitness, literacy,

numeracy, office skills, personal development, woodwork, and many

more. You will receive a training allowance, along with

travelling and meal allowances were appropriate.
