Starting School 2020

We will be holding Open Mornings for all prospective Reception parents for entry to school in September 2020 on Tuesday 12th November & Tuesday 26th November 9.30am - 11.00am. On Saturday 14th September the Cheam and Cuddington Horticultural Society Autumn Show was held at St Dunstan’s. The children’s exhibits were all displayed in a separate hall and everyone who went into the hall commented on how great

the works of art, vegetables, models looked. For those of you who entered the runner bean competition well done, there were a lot of impressive beans: the overall winner was Olivia Brown who’s bean was almost 40cm. Well done Olivia excellent growing. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Please find attached Useful Information for Parents which you may find beneficial.

Please ensure that you do not push the gates when entering the school, or to the Infant or Junior playgrounds. For your information, the gates from the EYFS & KS1 close at 8.45am. After this time you need to bring your child to the office to sign in.

On Thursday 19th September, the Playleaders all took part in the Sutton Supremo Training Day, run by Sutton School

Partnership. The afternoon was packed with excitement and enthusiasm, as the children learnt new skills, including game

organisation. They created rules for games, collected and organised equipment and practiced their games. This was followed by a practical session where Year 2 and Year 3 joined them on the playground to play the new games. The feedback received from the children and adults was

tremendous, as the Playleaders lead with clarity, organisation and positivity. We are now truly ready for the year ahead of us, and we look forward to seeing our

Playleaders inspire other children to play and get involved. Well done to all the Playleaders.
