Deacon Nomination Sunday TODAY.

Church members can nominate up to 4 men who meet the scriptural

qualifications for deacon in 1 Timothy 3. Nominees must be 21 years old and

have been a church member for at least one year. From these nominations, a

formal ballot will be drafted for vote in October. Please prayerfully consider

your nominations and ask those you nominate if they would be willing to

serve.

Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal Starts at 5:20. We will have grilled

ham, butter beans, slaw, rolls, and dessert. Please fill out the back of the

communication card and place it in the offering or contact the church office

by 4pm Monday.

Marriage Tune-Up at Cornerstone Baptist in Hartwell Sept 16-17. Friday

evening and Saturday morning. $45 per couple. Scholarships are available.

approximately 20 minutes into worship service.)

11:00am Services end and all ages move into small groups.

11:00am Training Session for Learning Center volunteers in the

Fellowship Hall.

6pm Bible Study in the Sanctuary. Dr. Larry will be teaching.

Remember: A more extensive prayer list is available in the lobbies.

We have Bible Study leaders at the Franklin County Detention Center every Sunday

morning. We call it the Jail Ministry.

Celebrate Recovery

Join us every Monday evening from 6:45pm to 9pm in the

Fellowship Hall as we work through the hurts, habits, and

hang-ups of life.

It’s for everyone!

We offer Kids’ Worship for grades K-5. Watch for the slide to dismiss

the kids, and leaders will meet them in the back of the room to escort

them. If this is your child’s first time attending Kids’ Worship, please

accompany them so we have the opportunity to meet you and get some

information on your child. Kids will move directly into their small group

Sunday School time after worship. Please pick your child up on the top

floor of Kids’ Town between 11:50am and Noon. Welcome New Members

If you want to be a part of our Christmas Celebration this year, please join us in the

choir room this Wednesday night at 7:30. We will assign you a notebook full of

music with a CD to listen to during the week. We hope all former Living Christmas

Tree participants will join us as well as some new folks!
