During Program, Participants Will:

1. Fill “apple container” with flowers and greens. (It is often best to distribute greens first, one variety at

a time, then flowers, etc. Greens always make a great background for the flowers.)

2. Add bow, if used. Master Gardeners will tie ribbon bows and put on wire for insertion.

3. Taste sliced apple samples and share their opinions of each

Discussion:

• Names and characteristics of flowers, etc.

• Care of arrangement (Add water in a couple days.)

• Names of apple samples, and other info you have about them (where they are from, etc.)

• Optional: Apple Quiz (You give descriptions and participants give answers; exercises knowledge skills)
