Update on Students and Graduates from the Research Awards Program

We are thrilled to share that we are working with six very highly-skilledresearchers in 2017 to conduct helpful research through a grant from theDepartment of Energy. In August the group of researchers returned to theirrespective schools to begin work in earnest on their hydropower research. Weare honored to work with:

Save the Date Hiring for Hydro February 21, 2018 Portland, OR

Be part of the 2018 Hiring for Hydro-a recruiting and educational eventdesigned to attract and recruit bright, capable new workforce entrants tohydropower in the Pacific Northwest Region. At this event, selected students,educators, hydro companies and their recruiters will meet for an action-packedeight hours.

Agenda: * Learn about exciting advances in hydropower

* Network with others interested in renewable energy * Awards Luncheon

* Hear from experts about the abundant career opportunities in the industry * Meet with industry recruiters with available jobs

It is anticipated this 2nd annual event will focus on all hydropower operationsneeds to include, electrical engineering, electrician, communications, meteringand instrumentation technician, machinist, welding and metallurgy students.Candidates will be pre-qualified from community colleges, universities andtechnical training organizations in the Pacific Northwest. We anticipate 40-60students will participate from 6-8 academic organizations.
