Keeping You Informed We elected Michael Groce, Mickey Keasler & Waddell Watters as our new Deacons and they begin serving a three year term this month. A service of ordination for Waddell will be scheduled as soon as possible.
Copies of the adopted Committee on Committee, Nominating Committee and June & July Financial Report are on the MBC Mailbox table. A recommendation from the Deacons & Finance Committee to enter into the ReFocus process in 2019. This would require us setting aside $ 10,000 & commit ourselves to establishing a ‘vision’ & ‘advisory’ team was approved. Copies of the ReFocus process are on the MBC mailbox table. A recommendation from the Finance Committee to transfer Nathan Vestal Fund monies to an ABLE acct at the State Employees Credit Union. Darryl made this request in the form of a letter - shared at conference. The motion was approved. The IMPACT ‘19 dates were shared - June 15-21 & a reminder of the ‘business sponsor’ T-Shirt fundraiser.
Mid-Week Prayer Time
Wednesday’s at 6:15 pm
Join us in the Conference Room
as we gather to spend time in
prayer together. We’ll pray
specifically for the needs of our
church family & community...as we
stand in the gap before the Lord!!
Adult Choir Rehearsal Wednesday’s at 7 pm
This extra 30 minutes will assist Larry, Debby and our Adult Choir in their preparation of leading us in our weekly worship service; as well as, provide them time to work on
their Christmas Cantata. This is a great time for anyone who
desires to ‘join our choir’ as we have a place for you
to share your love for music!
September Birthdays

Help Us Share the Good News We enjoyed the opportunity to share the “Good News” of Christ each Tuesday afternoon at Yadkinville Elementary last school year. In order for us to continue offering this ministry, we’re in need of enlisting several more members to our team. We would like to begin in October. The club meets every Tuesday from 3 till 4:30 pm in the cafeteria. See Jimmy or Larry - if you’re willing to invest in the lives of the children of our community!

Missions Offering
This year’s theme is “Open Hands” based on Psalm 145:16: “You open your hand; you satisfy
the desire of every living thing.” The NCMO is a special offering received during the month of September that supports the ministries of Baptists on Mission, Church Planting, mission camps, associational projects and
mobilization ministry projects. NCMO is your opportunity to impact lostness as God accomplishes many wonderful things
through these various ministries. Last year you gave $ 1,157. We’ll receive this offering through Sunday - Sept 23rd.
